Beautiful store that makes shopping a pleasure. Great bakery section and excellent selection of ethnic foods. The fresh produce is largely local, well priced and has a great variety to choose from. The deli section has some awesome choices if you need to grab a quick bite to go. Always friendly and helpful staff make The Old Farm Market an outstanding shopping addition to the Comox Valley!
I love the selection in this store. It differentiate from all the big chains that offer the same products. Some prices are really great and the bread I got comes a bit closer to what you would get in a Bakery in Germany. The imported products are extremely overpriced. Londen drugs has same products for half the price. A €2.50 bottle of Ketchup sells for $16 seems extreme. And I got that in walmart in Surrey for $10. But there are definitely good deals out there and the bakery and sandwiches they make are amazing.
Old Farm Market has the best deli counter in town!!nSandwiches are made to order and include toppings like guacamole at no extra charge. Deli meats are fresh cut on site, baked goods are made in house, and everything is fresh and delicious. Staff are always friendly and they have extremely reasonable prices - $10 for this sandwich. Thank you OFM!
Fun to walk around. A few items are good specials. Sone quite over priced. But I do like one of their in house breads enough to pop in as I pass through the area.nNot so great was cashier in such a rush she was very rough with products and one apple went off her table onto floor. Hubby waiting so paid and figure I will cut off the impact point. But after carefully picking 4 apples to eat while picnicking it’s disheartening to have someone rough with our food. Yes there was about three people in the lineup but I would rather wait the 30 seconds and be treated respectfully and my purchases also to be treated that way.
