A wonderful experience! AMAZING food, great environment, and we had the best service ever. The ginger beef is a delicious signature dish but I am sure you can’t go wrong any of the options. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
Stopped here for lunch before driving back to Calgary from skiing. The owner, Kit, is incredibly friendly and welcoming and told us about her menu items. We ordered the wor wonton soup, which is made from a 5+ hour chicken broth and no msg, and it was amazing! Lots of meat and veggies, and the wontons were excellent. We also ordered the ginger beef as all the previous reviews said it was a must-try, and we ordered the Szechuan noodles which were the perfect amount of spicy. The experience was truly a delight and we will be back next time we are in Fernie! Thanks Kit!
Not your ordinary Chinese restaurant! Food was delicious made with fresh ingredients. The service was super quick- which is always a plus! Serving portions are fair and the prices are reasonable. They also offer western food! Auntie was very welcoming and accommodating. She even gave us some freebies because we were repeat customers. Totally recommend this restaurant. Though the outside may look like it's old and sketchy, all I can say is that don't judge a book by it's cover!
Fresh North American classic Chinese Food. Reminds me of mall food court Chinese food but a bit fresher. Hits the spot. Honey shrimp was batter fried shrimp with honey sauce. Standard sweet and sour chicken. Standard stir fried vegetables but nicely flower cut carrots and zuchinni.
This restaurant is a little hidden but well worth the trip once you get there! Amazingly fresh Chinese food they also have a small American food menu as well. The service was very fast and super friendly. We ordered the Wor Wonton Soup, Mapo tofu, and ginger beer. It came out quickly and you can see and tell the cooks whipped it fresh for us. This restaurant was initially located in Sparwood and has relocated. Definitely a place you need to check out!

Just moved to the area recently and we visited many restaurants around here. None had good food with quite generous portions like the Old Elevator, this is definitely the one place to go to for Chinese food! My husband simply fell in love with the lemon chicken and it became quite the guilty pleasure to order it from pick up over and over.
Excellent choice, no msg, doesn’t taste full of sodium like other places. Ordered the beef black bean stir fry, shrimp chow mein, and chicken fried rice. All dishes well portioned and delicious.
Great service, great food, went with 4 adults and three kids two picky eaters, ordered the dinner for 4 with an additional dish, picky eaters had chicken fingers and fries. Food came out hot and fast. Really good services, owners are super friendly. Support all the local places in Fernie.
