The Nomad Food

Ordered the veggie burger, while my buddies ordered the beef. They found their burgers to be above average. My burger was a bit dry but probably due to being a veggie patty. The fries were good and you can tell that their fresh. Ice cream was excellent. The used the patio which was clean and beautiful outside. Washrooms were clean which was surprising because they're outdoors and normally you don't find outdoor bathrooms clean. The service was excellent and fairly quick, didn't need to wait long for the food.

We stopped in for lunch for the first time, and our experience was very good. The hand-cut fries were delicious. Both our regular burger and the chicken burger were quite tasty, with the chicken being nice and moist. We’re going to have to come back to try a shake - the assortment of flavors looks great! We also liked the display of local artwork. Finally, the staff was very polite and helpful - the service was perfect.

Well, spectacularly underwhelming! After asking numerous locals about where would be a good place to eat, not a single one recommended this place! I suppose I should have been more attentive and listened to their suggestions and gone somewhere, anywhere but here but on a whim I thought “well how bad could it be?” I at first thought maybe I should try the chicken but after inquiring about what pieces were included the answer was so vague and evasive that I decided not to order as it sounded like I’d just receive wings and drumsticks in the 5 piece meal but no guarantee whatsoever about what it may or may not contain other than five pieces of unknown description, bizarre... I decided on the fish and chips . To be fair the food was palatable but not exceptional also very small portions, I guess I’m spoiled by the fish and chips places in the lower mainland which are cheaper with larger portions. Regardless I was left with snarky service from the one worker, poor value, mediocre food and I’m still hungry! While waiting for my takeout meal another customer came in and waited a good 7-8 minutes before finally asking me if I had seen anyone working there, I replied that I had placed an order and after that the two girls and guy I saw in the kitchen had seemingly vanished alien abduction? he finally hollered a couple of times and the snarky girl suddenly reappeared and helped the poor guy out, my food finally arrived and I made good my escape.

This looked like a great alternative to stop at versus the fast food restaurants. I was mistaken. The service was SLOW, waited almost twenty minutes to have our order brought out. There were multiple errors. Combo meals were missing their sides and the burger had ingredients on it that we requested to be taken off. I took the burger back inside to be corrected. The girl at the front rolled her eyes, sighed and told me to take off the offending ingredient. I explained that it was an allergy, hence we ordered it specifically the way we did. Also she found the missing fries sitting on the counter Waited.... again. Order brought back outside, again made incorrectly. We didn’t even bother going to correct it this time. Our loss, we will order somewhere else. Side note- the other food was very tasty! Lots of toppings. Not enough to justify the poor customer service.

Picture doesn't do proper justice the the sheer size of this wrap I had! I was looking for a lighter lunch, so went with the wrap, but it filled me up for days! Everyone in our family had a great meal. Service was friendly, nice atmosphere if you stay inside. Some people complain about the price in the reviews, but you can't get a quality home-style meal for nothing. Go to McDonald's if you want cheap garbage. Stop here if you want a real meal that will actually satisfy you.

I seem to have caught them on an off day. Not bashing them but the burgers burnt and i order a regular poutine. It was $31 in total for whats in the photo, felt like it could have been better. But im just a passer by.

Hearty, tasty food and excellent service. We try to stop for a meal whenever we're travelling through Revelstoke. The pictures show the chicken pesto panini with the daily soup and the tandoori chicken panini with fries.

Stopped here for dinner, since it was convenient to our hotel. Some soup and a deli wrap hit the spot for me, and my partner had a burger, which he said was very good. Things are made to order here, so this is not 'fast' food. Therefore one can notice the improved taste. Friendly staff, decent bathrooms, and lots of free parking, in downtown Revelstoke.

Burned patty seems to be standard feature!? Ordered double beef patty burgers, first time both patty is burned, asked staff for replace. Second time, replace patty still burned. Fries is dry and no taste.

Service was good, food was amazing, a gluten free option was also available for people with allergy to gluten which also helped us decide on stopping here. The ice cream was worth every bit of money as well for a good end meal snack.
