Played here last Saturday and was disappointed that no mention of the punched greens was listed on the website, chronogolf booking app, email confirmations, or at the pro shop counter. We paid full price for the round and were disappointed by this. I tried looking for someone in the pro shop after the round to discuss this and nobody was around. Playing in the morning on a weekend there was no starter around, no marshal, no refreshment cart and the refreshment shack was also closed when we came through there around 2pm. The round was quite slow for pace. The fairways, rough and tee boxes were very green and in good shape, sometimes a little over watered and spongy but otherwise in great shape. There are certainly some strange holes on the course, particularly the par 5s where they almost dog left around in a horseshoe. Most tee shots on long holes are blind and force you to lay up so if you are a long hitter and want to hit driver bombs all day, this may not be the course for you. There are certainly some beautiful parts of this course and some parts that feel a little cramped.
Incredible course with excellent kept greens and amazing conditions. We came here with a group over the weekend and it was an awesome experience. The staff was friendly upon arrival and the practice facilities were awesome because range balls were free and there are large putting greens. First tee is right by the front entrance so it's easy to access after the range. The views are awesome and the course is pretty wide open. If you stay out of the long stuff you'll be okay.
Lovely ambiance and the staff are so friendly! Some great cocktails too!! Had the Friday Fish + Chips and of course had to pair it with a Shuswap Cider Co Cider
A little bit of a different type course with what I would call a couple of goofy holes? Course overall is in great shape but needs a little help as follows. New power carts but they need some major adjustments on the GPS as we’re just off a fairway or cart path and the carts continually shut off until you reverse out of that position. Found this very time consuming and was making us fall behind the pace. Was told we could get a sandwich at hole #6 but when we arrived it was closed!!! No cart service either this day or at least I never saw one. At the turn we entered the restaurant to get a sandwich and the staff there were very busy with lunch people and we had to wait several minutes again putting us behind.
Great breakfast! Before and after pictures as it was really good. Eggs cooked perfectly and the price was right. Nice patio with great views and they serve cherry hill coffee too.
Food continues to suck and has continued to go down in quality year after year. When they first opened, this restaurant was the best in the area. Management continues to blame a lack of staffing for a lazy menu, but its the chef that’s the real problem for this business. Staff retention and/or putting out an appealing menu seems to everyone’s fault except for the chef. No fries. Are you kidding me. WTH. I’m done spending my money there. McDonalds is putting out a better food.
We had a wonderful Nufloors Golf Event at Shuswap National! The golf was so well organized and the food was amazing! All the people are so helpful and professional!
Great course, very well maintained. GPS on the carts can be a little off, but all in all, it is a very enjoyable experience. I recommend this course to everyone.
We loved playing this course! They have some of the best greens in B.C. The layout is great they give you a lot of options for playing each hole. They're use of stone around the greens is really a nice touch. I definitely recommend this course.
The national is a must for Fridays fish and chips special, best in town!!! Not to mention the refreshing drinks and fabulous staff. You won't be disappointed
