We love this place for many reasons. My wife has celiac and this restaurant is completely gluten-free which makes her SO happy. ALL of the staff are friendly and easy going. The food quality is excellent and I love that they change it up. We come here once a week in a vintage car and always find parking on one side of the park or the other. The only bad thing to say about The Mule here in Port Dover is that it's not open year round.
This place is a vibe! Kristen was an amazing server, and the food was delicious. The ceviche was awesome, I think it's the only place is town to get it, can't wait to go back to have it again. The Taco's were all delicious, best I've had in a while.
Cute outdoor patio, lots to see with Powell park and all the walking traffic around. It's a great place to go for something a little different. If you want to fill up the prices are probably comparable to most tourist area towns.
We love everything about the Mule in Hamilton. This location is also good. Service was good. Food was good. Patio was nice.nnWe were a party of five and our two gluten free friends were grateful for the fully gluten free menu.
Update:nManagement replied to below review but seems very defensive. The only modification made to our order was to have the spicy sauces on the side. Not sure why this would cause the order to take double the usual wait time at any taco restaurant. If management doesn't see any need for improvement on customer experience then that's that. No sweat.n---------------------------nFood is not bad but not worth $7 a taco. We each had to eat 5-7 to be full. So for two people almost $100. Servers were nice and friendly but the food takes soooo long. We easily waited 30 minutes when the restaurant was very empty. Maybe 4 tables were filled at the time.
