They have a unique book vending machine that gives a random rare book, I love this place and it has great souvenirs.

Awesome place if you look for uncommon so to say books. We found "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child, 1966 publication

This place and the book machine were worth the trip to Canada alone. I have been looking for to visiting for a long time and wasn't disappointed. The book I received from the machine was a wonderful book about watercolors.

The shop display changes almost daily and always showcases some of the craziest books I've ever seen! Its super fun browsing around inside; you stumble upon some dusty old gems :

The Monkey's Paw is a world-famous used bookstore that specializes in vintage hardcovers and paperbacks, with scarcely a book to be found published after 1980. Of note is the store's Bibliomat, a vending machine that gives people hooks in exchange for an inexpensive token Recommended, for both Torontonian and visiting bibliographies.

Good collection of old/vintage books, but prices are not low. For a laugh, try the book vending machine in the back!
