It’s a very sweet little place to grab fresh and hot momos. The staff is very friendly and ambience is also nice. We received our orders quickly. The only thing I felt I missed is bigger plates. I was so impressed by the Momo Spot! Really chic and comfortable inside and the staff made our experience really great. So friendly and gave us chips on the house! We had the vegan steamed & pan-fried and pork pan-fried momos, and everything was mouthwatering! The sauces were also tasty as well. Will absolutely be coming back for patio weather! Thank you
The best Momo's I've ever had. Loved everything about this place. The vibe, the service, and best of all - the food! We tried some of their vegan offerings and it was amazing; spicy and extremely flavourful. We loved the Jhol. We'd recommend this place to anyone, and would definitely be returning!
I am *obsessed* with The Momo Spot! I always bring new people with me to experience the delicious food and each time I do it’s one more person who walks away addicted to this place! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Everything on the menu is delicious and adjustable to your spice intake. I would give The Momo Spot more than five stars if I could!
We ordered the chili momo and pan fried kothe, both with chicken, and a side of chili cilantro sauce spiciest option. After 10 orders, get one free plate! Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and well-lit with a simple but tasty menu. It's close to Tunney's Pasture Station and service is fast. They just opened in October and are already comparable to our Toronto momo fave, Loga's Corner. Parking: Street parking for 1 hr during the day and free after 5:30pm and on weekends. Dietary restrictions: Chicken and pork are the only meat options. Veg available too.
This place is absolutely amazing. I am a momo fan …….so much so i named my cat momo. I used to eat it every week back home , was really missing the authentic taste. The momos at the momo spot are perfect. The chutneys were so so savoury , my mouth is watering while i am writing this review. We had momo jhol and pan fried momos both vegan .. so so sooooooo good. The owner is very hospitable too.
My family was craving for good dumplings, but want to try non-Chinese dumplings. Momo Spot has Nepalese dumplings called momos, so we ordered steamed and pan-fried chicken & pork & vegan momos. The pan fried momos were my niece’s favourite, but my wife and I like the steamed momos. The chicken momos have a good mild cumin taste. The vegan momos have a curry taste. The chilli momos have a spicy kick. Their chips are good! But our family all like the pork momos most. We tried chili-cilantro sauce, mild sauce, spicy sesame sauce. We like the momos without the sauce. I am full after eating 18 momos. We find the prices reasonable: each order is $12 steamed or $13 fried, has 6 momos. Their momos are bigger in size, have more fillings than dumplings from other places. The fillings are meaty. The wrappers are not thick. The momos are all beautifully wrapped with care. Will definitely come back to order more steamed pork momos, and will try their noodle dishes.
Sign outside said Take out or Deliver but we went in. Very tasty. Dumplings are larger than chinese dumplings. Favourite dish was the "Fries Chili'. I think it was the same sauce as on the dumplings or dipping sauce, but I loved the sauce on potatoes! Delicious
Juicy and succulent momos! If you're interested in wonderfully seasoned and spicy 'dumplings' with tons of meat, this is a must try. Order: Chips Chilli $7.99 each x1 - The chili sauce was spicy and excellent - The fries soggy from the soaking up the sauce - Pieces of stir fried peppers, onions, and tomatoes were mixed in Chili Pork Momos $12.99 each x1 - The meat filly was juicy and succulent - The momos were big and filling - Excellent chili sauce that had some heat to it Atmosphere and Site: - Lots of indoor seating available - Décor was modern and clean - There's a loyalty punch card where you can get a free order of momos after having 10 momos previously Service: - The fries came out in 10~ mins, with the momos following 10~ mins afterwards - The staff are friendly and helpful
Amazing food. As authentic as it gets outside the home country. Had different varieties of momos, Thukpa and Chilli chicken.. if you see i did not add the picture of the chilli chicken.. it was that good. Come for the momos but try the chilli chicken.
