First time here at The Miner's Daughter. Nice little family restaurant. Great decor! Service was fantastic as well as the food. I got the seafood chowder along with a grilled haddock dinner while the Mrs. and Mom got the hamburger steak dinners. All freshly made to order and tasty. Desserts change on the daily but we were too full from supper for them. Maybe next time!
The food was absolutely delicious. Hot and fresh. Very clean place. The burger I had was big and poutine was delicious. Really enjoyed it. Staff we're all nice great atmosphere.
First time at The Miner's Daughter and it was an awesome experience. Food to make your heart and soul feel good. You will not leave this place hungry. If you are looking for a monster of a cheeseburger order The Franklin. The dessert case will tempt you before you even have a chance to gaze at the menu. Happy eating!
This restaurant has made top 5 of my favorite restaurants. If this place wasn’t 17 hours away I would be going every week. Down East cooking at its finest at the Miners Daughter and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with pieces of North Sydney’s Mining History. The Turkey, Stuffin & Cran burger is a must!
Great restaurant with a little bit of history! My grandparents met at the steel plant in 1930s, so it was cool to see some history in there. Great service and fresh food! If only I saved room for desert as the cheese cakes looked fabulous.
