Not what I was expecting to find in Acton: This was a top notch Mexican restaurant. Lots of amazing options on the menu. Service was on point there was a delay with taking our orders but we were brought out some chips to make up for it. And the tacos were delicious! FantasticFood: 5/5
Was surprised and absolutely loved the meal and experience we had here! The lady that took our order was patient, excellent communicator and knew the menu inside out and gave really good recommendations. If it wasn't so far from where I live, I'd be back more often.Food: 5/5
A great place to come for girls’ night, date with the bae or simply anytime. The food is flavourful, authentic and visually appealing. I have been twice and the owner, Julian is extremely pleasant as is the server. Service is consistently above and beyond as is the food and margaritas!! Thank you for having us.Food: 5/5
Last Saturday was our families first visit to The Mexican Way, but it will certainly not be our last. We just loved eating here. The food is outstanding, the owner and staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. We ordered the Chicken Burrito, Pork Cochinita Pibil Taco, Fish Taco, and had a plate of Churro's for desert. All were super tasty and a treat to eat. The sides of Mexican Red Rice, Smashed Beans, and Fiesta Potatoes were equally excellent. We also really enjoyed having a chat with the owner about his background and the care that is put into the food being served. Regardless of where you live it is definitely worth the drive to Acton to eat here!
I just wanted to tell you all about my wonderful experience at "The Mexican Way"! I went to check it out with family after a long day touring sunflower fields and blueberry picking... and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! First and foremost, the owners a husband and wife team were the epitome of kindness and warmth. They greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel at home, treating us like long-lost family members. They were not only very accommodating to all of our needs, but they also had a way of charming us with conversation while making sure that everything was done perfectly to our satisfaction. As for the food... oh my gosh, the food was nothing short of amazing! It's like they sprinkled a little bit of magic on each dish which are family recipes. From the rich flavours to the perfect presentation, every bite was a delightful journey into Mexican cuisine. I personally couldn't get enough of their Tres Leches for dessert – my nephew and I agreed that we could have eaten 10 servings! We're already thinking about a future trip to "The Mexican Way" for more of their amazing food. You definitely have to visit this hidden gem of a restaurant. I've already told all of my friends about it. : So, if you're in the mood for some seriously delicious Mexican food and a warm, friendly atmosphere that'll make you feel like family, check out "The Mexican Way." You won't be disappointed!
Having marked this for a long time, finally made to this place. Glad this not a chain and happy to support a small local business. Inside is very Mexican with nice decorations making you feel you are in Mexico. The service is good. Our spot right near the door was a bit uncomfortable. So glad that the place caters to vegans. Although not all of us are vegan, we mentioned we were looking for vegan options. Mexican Tacos - Al Ajillo Mushrooms - with Mexican Rice and Smashed Beans. The tacos fresh and mushrooms were done well however very flavour as the cilantro and pickled onions didn’t anything. The rice good and the Smashed Beans were the best we have had. The potatoes were plain. Mushroom Burrito - with no protein the burrito felt really light as it was filled with lettuce, rice, - mushrooms and tomatoes hardly any. Within an hour or so I was starving. Disappointing as missed it mark. An off menu item that the server suggested Enchiladas - as we had mentioned we were looking for a vegan option we assumed it would be a vegan option. We got a Vegetarian version - with cheese. Thankfully one of us not a vegan. The dish was good, but with just two tacos and not protein not filing as well. Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes are vegetarian friendly Dietary restrictions: Vegan options and some gluten free options available
The owner of the restaurant was polite and gave us a warm welcome, introducing himself personally. The food was tasty, and their homemade hot sauces were amazing! I am a hard critic, and in no way am I saying this with a negative outlook but instead constructively; I thought the prices food and drinks were just above average for a Mexican restaurant in a small town, and service was okay. Finally, the bench seat was uncomfortable and at a bit of an incline. I will definitely be back to try other foods on the menu. Welcome to Acton!
From the moment we walked through the door we knew it would be a great experience. We absolutely love Mexico and love the food in Mexico so we were really happy to find an authentic restaurant to satisfy our Mexican food cravings. We were greeted with a friendly smile by the owner who walked us to a table outside on the patio. The menu is perfect with a great selection of Mexican favourites. We had to have TMW chips with guacamole as a starter to go with our delicious Mojitosone of the best Mojitos I’ve ever had the chips were perfectly seasoned and the guacamole with pico de gallo was exactly what we were craving. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl and my husband ordered some fish tacos as well as Al Pastor tacos served with pineapple salsa. Every bite took us back to Mexico it was amazing. Then dessert!! It was not even an option we had to order both desserts on the menu and so glad we did. The Tres Leches cake is to die for. The churros were filled with the most amazing decadent filling. Every bite was heavenly. Service was also perfect!! Our server suggested I try the coconut tequila and pineapple juice and it was definitely A great addition to my dessert. We decided this is our new favourite restaurant.
First time in Acton and this popped up in Google and looked good, then a local friend also recommended it. Very good food, the service was great and their home made sauces were delicious. If you passing through or in the area 100% recommending stopping in:
Went for the first time last Friday. It was pretty busy but we got got seated pretty quickly. Our waitress could not have been more friendly and helpful. It's always good when people who work there rave about the food and make recommendations of what to try. The owner was very welcoming and checked in on us as well. The food was fantastic, we had tacos - shrimp, beef and pork. They were all amazing. Definitely be back soon as there is lots more on the menu that we want to try.
