The Merchant Ale House

This is an awesome place! They brew their own beers, which can be hit or miss, but definitely a hit here! I've tried most of them and they are all great! The food might be better than the beer! Never had a bad meal here! Seasonal menu keeps me coming back all the time to try new things! Definitely check this place out!

Quite an interesting place for a Saturday evening munching. Friendly staff, quality customer service. Good selection of in house crafted beer. Food quality is excellent and very reasonable price.

I discovered this place by chance following the beer trail of Niagara falls and just loved it. Great beer selection, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

Everything here is delicious. As a vegetarian, I'd have a cheat day here and order meat. When I lived in St Catharines, I brought my friends and family here and they were as equally impressed.

Went there before the pandemic. The staff was amazing and it was nice to see vegetarian food options on the menu. Prices are reasonable and be sure to try their sweet potato fries, and of course, craft beer!

Love this place! Got the fried chicken special last night -- what a deal and very good! The pickle coleslaw was superb. Plus a growler of Five Lions -- delicious! Miss Sunday afternoons at the bar.

Even during a pandemic, their staff is amazing and incredibly helpful. I wish I got the name of the nice woman who dealt with both my calls tonight so I could give her a shout out here. Thank you very much for the excellent food that burger was WOW, the further credit than what was due, and top notch service.
