I'm so glad I found this gorgeous restaurant before my trip to Paris so I could make sure I tried it here while on my vacation. It was really a delicious meal set in a very hip, funky and warm setting. The staff were great, the food spectacular and I couldn't really fault it here at all. I had the Spiced Chicken Samosa's for entree, and for my main, I had the very yummy Cheeseburger. Everything came out in good time and as asked for, and tasted so good, that I wish I actually lived in Paris so I could revisit often. If you think that while in France you must only eat French food, don't. Don't let that stop you from eating at places with fusion cuisines, because there are plenty of cool, modern restaurants with gorgeous flavours, and Market is one of them. Well worth the visit here.
This place was a big disappointment. Our waiter was phenomenal, but the problem was that they kept seating him tables. I counted that he had 10 tables at one time. I’m sorry, no matter how good of a server you are 10 tables will drown you. The staff did nothing to help him out until one of his tables he couldn’t get to in a timely matter walked out. The wait for food was awful. Other tables who ordered well after we did got their food before us. The food was super high priced, small portions for the price, & BLAND! The manager did comp 2 of our meals, but man taste your food. Giving me watered down mayo on my shrimp salad & think that’s good is . The food looks pretty, but it wasn’t tasty. Thank goodness our cocktails & wine were good.
We had a lovely experience here. I wouldn't order the tuna spring roll again, but otherwise the drinks and food were delicious and full of flavor. They play mostly pop/electronic music, which we love, but if you don't, maybe go elsewhere. The vibe is very trendy. The entrees were cooked perfectly, but they need to sharpen their steak knives. The service was a bit slow, typical for Paris, but otherwise the hostess and servers were very polite and on top of our needs.
Pretty solid. My steak was slightly underwhelming especially for 48 euro. Otherwise great time. The ice cream was delicious though.
One of my favorite spots in Paris. This is another amazing creation from Chef Jean-Georges. The beet salad with goat cheese is like no other. The tuna tartar with ginger, radish and guacamole is on another level. The vibe is what you'd expect from this kind of venue. I will certainly be back next time I'm in Paris.
How to best describe the food in Market? Asian? French? Modern? Probably all three - Modern Asian-French fusion. I go to market from time to time for business lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. The food has high quality, is delicious, staff is friendly and trying to make things happen including helping you to share dishes that are not made for sharing :-. There has been no disappointment on food so far, and I have probably tried the entire menu by now almost, it’s of course also changing from time to time. Staff could sometimes be more attentive, but if you ask everything is very fast. I’ll be back.
Good service, Good food, Good vibes And overall comfy and nice ambiance. Also, lots of good options for kids including Pizza and Fries. Desert are goooood. Recommend.
Very nice place . It was really a delicious meal set in a very hip, funky and warm setting. The staff were great, the food spectacular and I couldn't really fault it here at all. I had the Spiced Chicken Samosa's for entree, and for my main, I had the very yummy Cheeseburger.
They got my order wrong, upon receiving my correct order it was extremely peppery. The desserts were average, the cocktails, however, hit their mark. Over all the atmosphere, decorations, service, etc were all over the place. I couldn't quite tell what they were trying to achieve. Specifically, the music was a really bad choice almost the entire dining event. It was not worth the price either. I've dined in Michelin star restaurants and venues that were better for less.
The food, atmosphere and service were spectacular. Abit on the pricey side but worth every penny. If you're lucky you'll be served by Cedric. His customer service was above anything I've experienced so far. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for fine dining. We spent around £250 for a sharing starter two mains, two deserts and two cocktails. This restaurant will feature in Superluxe's city guide on YouTube next week.
