The staff are super friendly and helpful, and I always find something amazing when I head in. They post often to their social media pages so you get a sense of what’s new in the shop. They also carry a great variety of sizes and trends so there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Yes to a circular economy! I have been fortunate to buy a number of excellent pieces here over the years and also consign some of my own. It is the best place to consign in my opinion, they pay you up front and its quick and easy, they tell you what they didn't take and why so you don't waste your time bringing in stuff they might not take again, or tell you to bring your summer dress closer to summer etc... I appreciate the way they organize their clothes by size and category and that their clothes are in better condition to their competitors. Sometimes it is hit or miss for me, but usually a hit. I often forget and miss the accessories on the top shelf. Love their instagram updates of their stock. The customer service is similar to most of Vancouver retail... I don't think they are "snobby" at all.. or rude.. its just Vancouver.

Such great selection here! Lots of Aritzia things for half the cost some even have the original tags on and I never have trouble finding my size 00-0, XXS-XS. Everything is well organized and in great condition. Probably the best part is that the ladies working here are some of the kindest I’ve encountered in Vancouver consignment stores. I've been bringing my clothes to The Main Exchange for years now and there's nowhere else in the city I would go. Miranda and her team are super friendly, they're quick to sort through your items, and are always helpful in explaining what they're currently stocking for/in need of. The store is a welcoming and inclusive environment with on trend clothes and friendly and knowledgable staff. I also really appreciate their commitment to keeping their shoppers safe right now. Highly recommend!

My favourite consignment shop in all of Vancouver! I have been a customer and seller at the main and exchange for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. In fact it’s always been really pleasant as the staff are super friendly and welcoming to me. This will always be my go to place to sell my items. They are selective in what they take but that means they only have the best in their shop. So you don’t have to worry when buying online or through their insta that the items will be nothing but in excellent condition. I have been and will continue to recommend this place to my friends for any of their consignment needs! :

Not as original as Mintage / F as in frank / Rag Machine. Mid range - lower priced fast fashion brands. No unique pieces here. Mostly tiny sizes

I literally find the best consignment items every single time I go in the store! Very rarely do I leave without purchasing something. Amazing luxury brands, often with tags still on from being brand new. Staff is always so kind and fun. They are also super great about supporting public health guidelines! Can’t say enough great things about this amazing women owned buisness!!

I've been consigning & buying from Miranda and her amazing team since she opened and have been loyal to them for so many reasons: they are warm, welcoming, personable, give a great consigner % value, & the pricing for purchase is totally in line or sometimes lower than other high end secondhand shops. I've never had faulty garments and always feel cared for in the shop. That they've continued to maintain this level of customer service and quality of product during a pandemic is practically heroic, especially when so many small shops have shuttered their doors. These ladies just keep rolling up their sleeves and making it work, no matter what, which makes me love them even more.

I have been regularly shopping here since they first opened about 5 years ago. I love that they are near other consignment stores so I can make an afternoon of it. I haven't consigned with them but I think it's great that they pay cash on the spot instead of waiting until things sell. The staff have stuck around and I think that reflects good ownership. I really like the service they give-- never pushy or sales-y, but helpful and laid back. Their stock is always in good condition and well priced. They tend to stock very popular brands aritizia and not much vintage items, so I go to C'est La Vie to satisfy my vintage appetite.

Store is conveniently located and cute! They always have a great selection of clothes in a range of sizes - and i really appreciate they are committed to keeping shoppers safe and maintaining social distance/mask protocols. The two sales associates were helpful, but let me browse on my own. I've bought a few times from them and the quality of the clothes is always great.
