The Machine Shed - Rockford

So, can't say I hated the food because the turkey on the club sandwich was good and the toppings were fresh. The ale mustard was not good in my opinion, happy I got it on the side. The bacon was hard and cold, would have liked it warm. My co-workers got a large amount of fries with their food and I literally got 12 sweet potato fries.

Machine Shed has been around for many years in Rockford. It is nice place for country folks and everyone who visits to enjoy. Variety of food is only one sector to explore here. Gift shop is open and inviting for all to enjoy! Women's bathroom is to the left see sign in picture. Food, family and fun for all!

What great food. Nice atmosphere. Coffee was good. They even have alcoholic beverages. Clean restaurant. Cute little gift shop.

I ordered over the phone. The food took a few minutes longer to get after I got there, but I had to drive ,so that was fine. The smell from the kitchen is always appetizing. The portions are filling and delicious.

I would say this is similar to a Cracker Barrel in a lot of ways. I got the chicken pot pie and it hit the spot! The crust was perfectly golden and crispy. The complimentary bread they brought out was very good as well. I would come back here for classic home-cooking type foods at a reasonable price.
