The Lost Whale Inn exceeded our expectations in every way! The inn is charming and very comfortable. Lots of windows face the ocean for a spectacular view. Our particular room had a full ocean view right from our bed! Everything was spotlessly clean. The manager, his sister and all of the other staff were friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful with our plans. The food was incredible! A huge spread every morning that always included something sweet, something savory and fruit. I am vegan and they made sure that I had delicious food every morning. They also served a wide array of snacks and wine every afternoon. We loved our stay here and hope that we will have the chance to visit again!

If I could give this place extra stars I would. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon trip and we were just wowed. They have thought of everything and the attention to detail really shows. We will defiantly be back!

Absolutely wonderful & accommodating staff, in a gorgeous location. Enjoyed two amazing evenings watching the seacoast sunset with glasses of complementary wine in hand, sharing stories around the campfire, and listening to the waves crashing on the shoreline. Evening appetizers and breakfasts were delicious. A dream, truly. Deepest gratitude to the owners of The Lost Whale Inn for all you do. Will definitely be back!

The Inn is very comfortable, private bathrooms in each room, not typical for a B&B. The setting and view are spectacular. You can sit on a public or private balcony to watch the sea birds or listen to the sea lions and waves crash. Have a walk through the organic vegetable garden or enjoy the spa. Private beach has a moderate climb down and is lined with wild flora and fauna. Wood fired sauna and a fire pit sitting area above the bluff to make s'mores or relax and have a glass of locally provided wine. Brian, the proprietor, is attentive and maintains an excellent balance of friendliness and professionalism. We did not want for anything. Most definitely a recommended stop and stay!

Exceeded expectations. Comfy room, powerful shower, good detail in room - fresh cut blooms, sea salt caramels, fast WiFi. Location above the beach with lovely garden and decks, and a quick descent down private trail. Breakfasts superb - from fresh baked strudel to blueberry pancakes to a country potatoes side. And amazing array off snack and wine at 4.30 p.m. Brian and Sarah know what they are doing.
