What a treat to find this quirky and interesting bar/rest stop en route from Jasper to Kamloops. They were advertising their 'World Famous Burger' so we felt we just had to try one. It was epic! I'm not normally a burger girl but this was special. If you're anywhere near Avola, you should stop and try one! Super-friendly, salt of the earth staff and owners with a real homely feel. Highly recommended! Food & drinks: Try a burger!

I saw a billboard for world famous burgers as I was heading south from Jasper. Pulled into wee Avola and found the Log Inn Pub open and waiting for their second customer of the day. Little did they know, but they were about to get slammed by a roving band of RV'ers. They do burgers! And they are tasty - unique flavour, and fresh everything. I recommend a stop if you find yourself in Avola, British Columbia.
Great find for a lunch stop - follow the quirky signs as you'd never stumble across it. Loved the burgers & the bar area is really interesting but the highlight was seeing the hummingbirds feeding in the porch.Hotel highlightsQuiet
Great old school ' neighborhood pub ' .. somewhere no one usually stops unless they have heard about it. Larry has done an amazing job over the last 40 years. Makes a darn good hamburger!Rooms: 5/5
This is a hidden gem! The burgers are juicy and really tasty. Just a short bit off the main road. The rear patio has a beautiful view, as well. Food & drinks: Cold bear and juicy burgers.
