My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night. We started off with the Lobster dip, which was absolutely delicious. I had the fish and chips, and he had the angus burger for our mains. The fries were great, good quality chip truck style fries! The fish and burger were okay, nothing special.nnI would go back for that dip though!! And maybe a poutine with those fries.nnThe view was pretty from the window seat, and they also have a big patio available!
Over an hour wait to get served food the place was at less than 30% occupancy.nServer was helpful and friendly.nView isnt as great as it looks from o line pics.nPlace looks quite tired.
We were going to Smith Falls and wanted a nice restaurant with a nice view. It's nice. Service good but this a quite overated. The food not as good. We ordered chicken wings My favorite meals, terribly overcooked, looked like it was reheated from the day before and filled with tons of sauce and with a poutine, again of which I love. The fries are homemade, I could taste them from my husband plate, he took a hamburger of which he said was ok. The poutine was again immerged of sauce, not sure what it tasted but not the poutine I am used to. I did not like it and the cheese of which you wish it is St Albert, I could not say the difference since it was soaked in that sauce. Result, first time I leave so much behind and of which I don't want to bring back home.
Went in for lunch today and it was delicious! We had the chicken tacos and chicken fingers with fries. Both meals were amazing, food came out quickly and was piping hot! Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend. Will go back for sure!
This is a cute place to visit. Had lunch on the patio that overlooks the river. Food was excellent and so was the service. It was a fun day out in Smith's falls.
