We chose this place to eat based on the reviews from here. This truly is 5 star food. I wouldn’t have ever guessed it if driving by. The chef came out to check each table and ensure all was tasty. I had seafood with rice and my wife had a gluten-free chicken burger and fries. I was shocked on how good the bun was. We would definitely eat here again. Well done !!!
I got the butchered Benedict casserole and holy was I surprised with the hollandaise sauce it was probably the best in town I've had! The service was great, my new favorite breakfast restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The waitress brought out coloring books and crayons and even made a change to our kids food to have shredded hashbrowns instead of bacon
Shana was amazing. Her hospitality and friendliness made us want to come back.
We had omelets, the Smackdown and the Caprese Feta Vegetarian. OMG! So delicious! The Smackdown is ginormous, so bring an appetite. Although I didn't have the coffee my breakfast date said it is "the best coffee in town".
Went out of the norm going to Edmonton for a nice meal and chose to do something a bit different. Settled on a scenic drive out to Drayton and a meal at The Local House Cafe - incredibly glad we did. The staff were incredibly pleasant. Who we presumed to be the chef checked to make sure we were happy with the food, and the waitress was friendly and had great advice on where to go for a walk afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed our date night - quite possibly the best one yet in seven years of marriage.
The local house truly has amazing food and amazing owners. Last night my kiddos and myself wanted their food, unsure if they delivered so I called. Chris had said they weren't able to deliver due to being short staffed, he then said no thats okay I'll deliver to you. Not only did they deliver when short staffed they also gave us our food on the house! How incredibly amazing of customer service is that? Highly recommend this place to anyone. Great food along with great sevice!
Over priced for the quality of food. Buffet was cold, and ordered meal was undercooked. For a Cafe, it had the worst coffee I've ever tasted! I've had batter truck stop coffee. Kid-friendliness: Have high chairs

This place was surprisingly good. The price is definitely reasonable. The veal parmesan was delicious and moist. The butter chicken pizza has a slight kick of spice and tasted great. The service was prompt and friendly. This will be a place I will plan to stop at when I head through Drayton Valley.
