I am so happy I chose the Lavender house. The couple who runs it was so helpful. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I had my ceremony and reception here and it was so beautiful. The gardens are immaculate. An absolute diamond in Bear ariver City. The girls who were hired to help were amazing. They bused tables, helped clean up, and overall gave me a perfect, stress free day. They have tons of beautiful decorations to use. The gift shop was my favorite. The dried flowers and herbs, soaps, lotions, etc were so country chic. My big day went by without a hitch and it's all thanks to the Lavender House!

Had my wedding reception here, the woman who runs the place makes empty promises and disappeared during the ceremony. We paid for the highest package she had and did what she asked. We met with her three times and the day of the wedding she had nothing ready. She couldn't remember what center pieces we had requested and hastily cut flowers from her garden- not special ordered as we had paid for. The dishes we paid for were never used, the drinks we bought hidden away with the boutonnieres in her garage, along with the so called workers that should have been serving food instead of eating it. Maybe they would have done something if the boss had been around to give them directions but she disappeared. 
On the most formal day of my life this woman let my guests eat off paper plates that our caters had to run and purchase, because she was no where to be found! When she finally did turn up it was to insult my new in-laws and refuse them entry to the restroom. 
This woman doesn't have a shred of decency in her. Choose any other venue or your wedding day will be ruined, like mine. The only thing you will hear about your wedding from your friends and family are the horror stories of this woman on a rampage and her rude and insulting comments to your guests.

Attended a wedding reception here and was impressed with the grounds. It's very quaint and charming. I liked the raspberry lemonade but was not a fan of the lavender lemonade(just my personal preference). Great place for a reception if you're looking.
