It started out a bit rough with a less than friendly greeting about how long the wait would be but we sat at the bar and everything was uphill from there. Great cocktails, super friendly and fantastic service. Excellent food with totally reasonable price points. Shrimp cocktail yum. Lobster and prime rib dinners were excellent. I’ll be back!
We had dinner at The Landing with a group of 6. They were able to seat us immediately, but warned us there would be a wait before they could take our order. They brought bread and salmon paté for the inconvenience. The wait was not long and the service throughout the meal was excellent. The food was OK, but not great. The salmon was a bit dry. The ribs were a bit bland, but the portion was huge. I would be willing to go back and try the dishes again in case it was just a temporary problem. For parties of 6 or more, the gratuity is added to the bill.
Fine dining inside a casino??? YES. The best clam chowder, the best prime rib I had in the last 10 years, and a wonderful server, Juan, and his teammates. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Our server Juan is A+! This place definitely exceeded expectations for a restaurant inside a casino. Stumbled in on a Thursday late evening looking for a quick snack, and the host was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions. Juan took care of us with his prompt service and the food was really good! That ranch sauce is to die for!
Just wanted to say thank you for making today special for us, Pam! The food was delicious and your attentiveness made it a great experience for us. Definitely returning.
Don't waste your money on the brunch buffet. Everything was cold except the brisket which was the only decent thing I had except the store bought pastries. The eggs were an odd texture. The waffles were cold and hard, basically unedible. They didn't even have hashbrowns? Orange juice was an extra cost as a drink? It is breakfast seemed like and weird thing to charge extra for after $30 for the buffet. They had "chicken tenders" which was basically jerky popcorn chicken and some odd fish patty thing I didn't even want to try as it looked disgusting. Very odd buffet and definitely not worth even half the price we paid. Everyone in our party was unhappy and disappointed. Would come back to try the regular menu as the reviews are decent but would never come back for the brunch. The staff was friendly and attentive that's the only reason they are getting 2 stars and not 1.
We ate here for the first time Christmas dinner. Service was slow and the waiter was even slower. I figured it's christmas..they were short staffed..let it go. There was a man celebrating his birthday..they had ice cream with a sparkly candle for him and they sang to him, I thought aww how sweet. Food was okay. We come back three days later for my son's birthday. Again service is extremely slow..mind you it's Wednesday, we had the same waiter from Christmas. It took him forever to take our drink and food order. My husband was served first..by the time I received my food, almost 15 min later he was almost done. We did hav a a party of 8. The food was cold. My food had an odd taste to it. Our waiter never asked how my food was, or anyone else's. One person in our group did complain about her prime rib, and he had a new order to go for her. When we did tell him the my food was not good he said it was to late to recieve any credit as he did not see I had not eaten it. Maybe if he had checked on us he would have seen. He did offer us a free dessert which I declined. To top it off there was a table next to us who had a birthday....out comes the ice cream and sparkly candle..and their waiter sang to them. It took our waiter another 20 minutes to bring our dessert.. Which the birthday boy did not have a sparkly candle...nor did our waiter sing to him. Maybe I am being petty..but I will not be back.
Sunday Brunch Review only. I have not eaten here other then that. Warning - NO - DON'T DO IT !!! I would have been disappointed at $15 to $20, but at $30 it makes it sooo much worse. And at $30, orange juice is extra ? Comical ! This is a management problem. Whoever is running this buffet is inexperienced. Food was out of order in steam tables. A breakfast item, then a lunch item, then breakfast item again. Everything was cold. Some waffles overcooked and hard. Scrambled eggs cold. Bacon thick flat cold and jerkylike. Cold sausage patty. Not warm, cold. No hashbrowns ? What ? Hey there's cold french fries to have with your eggs though ! Gross fish ? patties. Hard chewy chicken nuggets. Goop macaroni and cheese. Butter over there at other salad desert table but syrup packet over here ? Confusing unprofessional setup. Sternos were out and the guy changing them was yelling to another employee that he didn't know how to use them ? Low quality food. Store bought pastries. Warm salads. Grumpy omelet employee. You could tell he was not happy. Had to stand there for a piece of beef sliced beef was good while I watched him cook a whole omelet first before getting offered a slice. I then had an omelet as my second serving because nothing on the buffet was good. I will say the omelet was hot and delicious. I would not go back to this brunch for $15. $30 is too much for a poorly operated buffet. At that price, you expect to be stunned and surrounded by deliciousness. Poor quality and high price is a large spread and double rip off. Untrained staff or poor upper management knowledge on proper buffet operations to blame here. Our whole table wasted alot of food. Our plates were picked up by staff with alot of uneaten waste. This really was a disappointment and joke for a high end casino.
Service was slow but I was told they were short handed. Asian salad I ordered was warm, salt and had cooked broccoli on it. I also ordered a rib eye medium well and received a half raw overly seasoned steak. Disappointed with the entire experience. I ordered dessert, a blackberry cobbler. It was NOT a cobbler. It was a few blackberries on a dry muffin. I paid and left a tip but I was shocked at the poor quality of their bistro!
Overall experience left my husband and I in agreement that we will not be returning. For two adults and 1 child aged 2.5 it was $84 for brunch pre tip. They charge the same price for ages 2-17. Which is absurd to me. 2 year Olds do not eat the same amount as 17 year Olds. My kid barely touched his food. We were also charged extra for a juice. For $17 you cant include juice? The BBQ Brisket, and shrimp were pretty tough. My husband did say the biscuits and gravy stole the show for him. I personally thought their bacon was cooked perfectly. I also had the scrambled eggs which had a decent texture; I just wish I had some cheese or something to put on top. We were also a little surprised at the set up for the price, was more like a hotel continental breakfast with warmers on folding tables. Which is relatively fine but... for the price we were a little less impressed.
