The South Shore Inn & The Landing will re-open again in May 2018

The South Shore Inn and The Landing Patio Bar & Grill are conveniently located on the shores of Clear Lake. The Landing is a large lake front bar and grille, with perfect views of Clear Lake, Iowa. We have a large dock where you can conveniently tie up your boat during the day or evening to stop by for food or drinks.

The Landing is located at 1603 South Shore Dr, attached to the lakeside of the South Shore Inn. Stop by for great food, unique drinks and an unbeatable atmosphere! And make sure to book your stay at the South Shore Inn to make the most of your trip to Clear Lake.

Landing hours:
Serving Food Daily from 11-9pm.
Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday from 8-11am.

This was a good stopping off place on our trip to the Twin Cities. The outdoor patio was spacious with a great view of Clear Lake. Our party of six ordered lunch and we chose a variety of the items from the menu. The portions for each of our lunches were very generous and each of us left a little something on the plate. Prices were very much in line with other dining spots of the same sort. Service was not too bad, but a little slow given that fact that the patio dining area was not terribly busy. But it did give us time to rest, relax and enjoy the company. Overall, the Landing Patio Bar and Grill is worth a return trip.

Great location on Clear Lake! You can sit next to the dock! We ate lunch there the last weekend in September. The weather was very nice!!! The place was not very busy. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. Clearly frozen fish. I'm spoiled living so close to the Anchor fish & chips--they serve fresh fish. Still, not bad. Servers were friendly.

It has incredible views and fast, friendly service! There are tons of tables- so there isn't a wait for a seat. You can have appetizers and drinks only if you want, on a lower deck. Breakfast menu is small, but the food on it is great. Dinner has a lot more options and is also very delicious

Not customer friendly. I was here by myself so I said I was willing to sit at the bar but it turned out to be very hot in the direct sunlight. They refused to seat me at an available table so they could wait for a party of 2. I had 1 drink at the bar-served in a plastic cup.

Service was terrible. Had a group of 8 and had to get all our drinks and it took 30 min for wings and pickle chips. On a Fri at 3 with maybe 20 people there.
