I love the old building that houses this restaurant. I'm a vegetarian and the cauliflower steak is one of the best vegetarian meals I've ever had at a restaurant. It's substantial enough to be a whole meal and the flavours are delightful. I love that they let you order the steak sides too at a very reasonable cost! I like mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies!

The Keg always had good steak in my opinion. This location is particularly interesting because of the mansion feel.. all the rooms are really neat. The staff is attentive and eating here is a great experience. The only downside is the parking.. while we managed to get a spot in the few spaces they have out front, I can see this being a problem at times.

Absolutely loved my time at the Mansion. It was absolutely gorgeous. We had appetizers up in the bar area, which was very busy, but still really nice atmosphere. Our server was very helpful and kind. We then sat downstairs in the library for our dinner. It was nice, dark, romantic and just really beautiful. Our waiter was really nice and personable. WE requested to read the book of ghost stories which was really neat. The food was fantastic also. I cannot wait to go back!

It’s a dark place. The food like any other Keg met its standard but I had never been to the Keg Mansion before. It’s hard for me to describe if it’s good or bad so I’ll just share the experience you’ll have if you go there. The building is grand and does feel like a mansion. If it’s busy you can go straight upstairs and find a seat yourself at the lounge area which actually looks and functions just like any other restaurant. It’s not super loud but if you want a quiet dinner experience don’t go upstairs. The vibe felt a bit older and mature. It’s definitely not the type of place you go to be around lively loud people. If you want something more lively and enjoy this restaurant I recommend the king West one. Personally doesn’t bother me seeing the bougie crowd as it’s fun to watch. It’s all about preference on ambience as the food is all the same.

Great if you want a romantic date with your partner. For some reason people feel the need to bring their entire family with little kids. One time I was there a lady brought her newborn in a stroller there... I wouldn't call this place family friendly past 9pm but that doesn't stop them. It is expensive but tasty. Very dim lighting with candles. Dessert was great.
