Not a great U-Pick as it is very overpriced. You'll pay more than the grocery store, just to do the labour of harvesting the fruit yourself, and after driving a long distance and paying the gas to get to this place. Not worth it. Their sunflower field, however? Very nice!
The strawberries were perfect. Highly recommend picking berries here. Worth the drive. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Super cute stop, just off the highway. Fun to stretch or legs, play, and pick our own pumpkins from the patch. It made for a perfect autumn day.
Nice place to visit. So many types of vegetables to pick
Really fun experience but this place could get really busy. It brought back a lot of childhood memories of picking in the fields. The strawberries were bursting with flavour. Usually having store bought, they simply don’t compare to eating local!
My daughter Grandson were out there today picking Berries. they took them out to the field to pick Berries left them out there said they be back In a half hour but never showed she had to walk back with a 18month child caring the fruit and her belongs. Then they went to play at the park and a older child decided it would be fun and kicked my Grandson. I don't recommend anyone to go there. Unless they have supervision.
Went to go pick strawberries and on the walk back we had gotten lost and walked in a “off limits area” no sign indicating as such and a old man that works there drove to us in a golf cart and started saying to me “you don’t know how to follow signs?” and “you get lost easily or what” super condescending and very easily could have left it as “this is a off limits area” but decided to tear into us for no reason. For a place that grows tiny strawberries and sells them $5 per pound he should have a lot more manners. The girls working are nice and helpful
So disappointing :. I haven't been to the Jungle Farm in a few years and was excited to take friends who have never been. The place has gone WAY downhill. Almost all the stuff they used to have and advertise online is gone or useless. I can't believe they charge so much to play with junk. Pumpkin race is broken. No balls or lassos for the games. Gnome walk is pretty much abandoned. There's absolutly no care put into the place now. I regret wasting my money on the overpriced strawberries too
I sent an email 4 days prior to coming, no response, i sent a followup email the day before coming still no response. I drove all the way there n they wouldnt let me pick strawberries n there were lots . No impressed at all. They should change their website to contact Leona for info about picking because she doesnt reply to her emails.
I was initially turned off by the admission fee too, but once we were inside and saw how much there was to do and tasted those delicious strawberries, it was totally worth it. My toddler loved every minute of being at The Jungle Farm, except riding on the tractor. I think the noise of the engine freaked him out. We picked berries, but there were also a ton of veggies you can pick too. There are two giant slides to go down - so much fun for mom and dad too - a corn maze, bean bag toss, farm animals to feed, hay bale fort and a whole lot more. Overall, The Jungle Farm was a great way for my family to disconnect from city life in Calgary, let the kid run free and relax. I highly recommend The Jungle Farm for young families!
