Great spot to grab a coffee and lite breakfast. On some days the have musicians playing. Really good spot to meet a friend for coffee.
The Hidden Gem in Chelmsford Center, this is the perfect place to catch up with a friend, work, read a book or sit down and look out the window while taking a break- kind of place. I went to The Java Room around mid-morning to have coffee with a friend on a cold, snowy day and was surprised by the comforting, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. They also have a wine bar that’s opened all day!!! Everyone is very friendly and courteous, the cranberry orange muffin and latté I had were delicious. I haven’t tried any other goodies yet, but they had some amazing good looking desserts on display. They offer a monthly Event Calendar and live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday at brunch time. I found out that The Java Room has been in business for 14 years and they don’t advertise, but count on word of mouth. So let’s spread the word! Quickly becoming my favorite place to hang out in town.
Amazing coffee shop to have a nice breakfast and coffee! The place looks great and the food is really fresh! It gives you a nice feeling to go to this place. Definitely a place worth trying to get a nice feel of a coffee shop.
Blown away by the kindness and professionalism of The Java Room. I made mention my wife is pregnant when ordering her decaf iced Americano as caffeine is not recommend for pregnant women, and the gentlemen working there recommended the Rooibos tea, and gave a free one to us without even asking. It was my first time there, but surely won't be the last. The latte I ordered for myself was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Great caffeinated drinks and the staff is very friendly. Their chai latte is excellent! Update: With the prices of everything going up, one thing I should point out is that I recently noticed that some of the prices for things I get here are a little lower than getting the same thing at Starbucks, even though the quality here is usually better
I love this cafe. Delicious coffee, chai, good service, and super great about helping me find gluten free food.
Workers/Management need to make some changes. First time there we asked the girl at the counter if we should stand there and wait for our food. Told us we could sit down and they would announce when food was ready. Well with the live music, you can't hear the workers. Who knows how long our food sat there getting cold. I'm sure we will not be back and doubt we will recommend to anyone else.
Very nice upscale coffee, tea pastries and sandwich place. Sidewalk and good size indoor dining room as well.
Great place to stop for coffee. The atmosphere is chill and there are regular performances on weekends at least there were in the Before Times. They also serve alcohol during those performances, so it is a great spot for a date night. The owner, Candy, is often nearby and cares a lot about the establishment. Baristas are all very nice, I have almost never had a poor experience there. The food is mediocre to poor, so stick with the coffee/specialty drinks and you will love it.
