The Irish Heather

Decently good whisky menu, of course. Cocktail list could be a bit better, tbh, but there are some good ones nonetheless. Food... could be better. One in our party got a roast beef dish that was not very good, restaurant took off half which was very generous. However, the experience can't be taken back...

Really good Guinness. Was going to The blarney stone, but with covid and all it looked too busy for my comfort. On the other hand it was a blessing to find the irish Heather. Very good cocktails as well as a hearty portion for the Tuesday fish n chip special. Very intimate spot with a feel for Ireland and many choices of whiskey.

Best Guinness in the city! Enjoyed everything from the food and the service. I heard it's been there for 20 years! I'll definitely be back it reminds me of Ireland!

Always enjoy the food at the Heather, especially their vegan and vegetarian options. The soups in winter are incredible too. The service is always lovely and the staff are really friendly. They have great specials and happy hour, and all the cocktails are made really well. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Gastown!

At the moment you arrive in that restaurant the stuff gives you a comfortable feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a friendly place to hang out with your friends or with your date. heavenly food, qualified chef de cuisine, comfortable price and nice service. Highly recommended.
