After completing 10 years at its original location, Indian Harvest moved to its current confines in 2008.From our special verity lunch sampler plates to our fine-dining a la carte evening experience, we are proudly serving flavorful Tandoori items and curry dishes, full bar service, water-front patio, carry-outs, catering, and distinctive banqueting. Very pretty interior! Food was delicious and nicely presented. We ordered a few of the specialty cocktails as we saw no other alcoholic choices. These were not to outer liking. Chili pepper salted time and very spicy tamarind, not what we were looking for. Wonder if they had Indian beer, wine? If I went again I'd ask for a table NOT in the front room by the windows at dinner time. It was really warm with no air movement.
I loved the decorations and the service - excellent. I will definitely go back. The food was very good. For my taste it could use a little spicy heat just like when I was in India - normal is hot. Two couples we had for appetizer: BAINGAN BHARTA and Samosas, and Garlic Naan Main Entres we shared: TANDOOR MIX KALIAN An assorted presentation of our Tandoori Kebabs served with Dal Makhani, Basmati Rice, Naan and the dessert of the day and HARVEST NON-VEGETARIAN FEAST A sampler of Saag Paneer, Lamb Roganjosh, assorted tandoor kebabs served with Basmati Rice, Naan and the dessert of the day.
Beautiful North Indian Restaurant! Please reserve the table in advance or prepare to wait for at least 20-30 minutes. Ambience is so good with walls and roof made of old rustic Jaipuri Rajasthani style/ gujarati style. So beautifully kept. Service is top notch and the food runners are so attentive and amiable. Their Signature Cocktails are the best and we loved every item from here. Starting from Bajji platter to Sugarcane juice. We’ve ordered garlic Naans so fresh and thin and vegetable Zalfrezi 4/5, chicken harvest masala 3.5/5 It was mild. Vegetable Biryani 4/5 - Spicy and tasty. Overall the place is so worth going.
So much delicious food! We got the chef's special of the Harvest Non-Vegeterian Feast, extra garlic naan bread, and mango yogurt drinks. It was our first time and we can't wait to come back. The staff was so kind and hardworking. The restaurant is also very beautiful and clean. Highly recommend! IG: @sunflash.photography Vegetarian options: Lots of vegeterian options. Parking: No problem with patking.
Right by Fresh Thyme in Naperville, passed it so many times but never noticed The Indian Harvest until a friend brought us here. The curries were so delicious. The dishes looks small, but it's not. The pot has thin casings and is deep, so there's plenty of sauce and meat that comes with each dish. But the sauce will never be enough because you want to lick up every drop with the Naans, especially the garlic naan!
The menu is extensive, with many vegan and vegetarian options. The food was prepared exquisitely, and we enjoyed every morsel! The interior is exotic and cozy. The staff was very friendly. We look forward to returning again soon!
Buffet was tasty. Nice options and staff were friendly. All you can eat was nice and the food was fresh. Nice flavor and options available to choose from.Recommended dishesTandoori Chicken, Naan
Yummy! Food was fabulous! Great menu! Nice atmosphere and one of the best cocktails I’ve ever enjoyed! Indian version of a Margarita! Will definitely be back! Soon! Potato appetizer will definitely be ordered every time! Would have taken more photos but kept forgetting as we were so excited about our food! No soy free options;- only negative
This was my first time order at this restaurant and very much disappointed. We ordered kadhai paneer and paneer makhan Masala and both the curries were tasteless. Infact, the kadhai paneer was dripping in oil. The paneer cubes tasted a bit stale as well. We literally threw the food after having a few bites.
This is a traditional Indian restaurant with a variety food options from several regions. They offer both vegetarian and non vegetarian fare. On both visits I had their lunch sampler which was delicious! Sanjeev our host was attentive and helpful. It was a very pleasant experience and everyone in our group enjoyed their food. On my third visit I ordered the vegetarian sampler that included a starter soup, three sample entrées, rice, and gulab jamon for dessert. Their dishes all come with naan. All dishes were properly cooked and spiced well. Vegetarian options: Their platter options include vegetarian or vegan. Both are tasty and present as modest lunch size portions. Their soup contained peas and eggplant as well as a variety of spices and herbs.
