Great little ice cream shack with lots of options from Super Sundaes, regular sundaes, milkshakes, cones, kiddie cones, etc. They have a drive thru that I saw was pretty fast as well as a walk up option that was also pretty quick. In front of the hut and off to the side of the parking lot are many picnic tables with umbrellas so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. The portions were large and well priced.
I stood in line for over 35 minutes waiting for the heinous ninth grader to pass through the queue of others just like me: starving, shivering, dressed in rags, huddling together for warmth and a glimpse of compassion, though none had any to spare. When I had finally marched my way to the front of the line, like a petrified soldier on the beaches of Normandy, my adversary, the slop shop frozen treats teen could not even look me in the eyes as she delivered a rapturous scoop of corn-syrup infused chilled dairy into a small paper cup. It was the smallest scoop of food I had ever laid my eyes on, but I had not eaten since 3pm, and was desperate. "FOUR THIRTY THREE" she hissed, waving the debit machine in my face like Mauser in the chest of a Polish child. "p...please, a s...spoon, if you would" I whimpered as I tapped my Travel Rewards Plan Ultimate Optimum Double Points Mastercard. "NEXT" she shouted, ignoring my plea. I was lurched forward by the other starving civilians behind me, and out back onto the cold streets of Bayfield.
Soy-based vegan soft serve is some of the best I've had! It's very sweet, but most like dairy soft serve ice cream. The price is also very reasonable. It's a nice place to stop if you're in the area.
We love the vegan chocolate & vanilla twist, but you can get either flavour on it's own.
We live the great dishes and vegan options. Never disappointed. The staff are always friendly
This is simply the BEST place for a shake hands down. Homemade soups are awesome too!
super yummy ice cream! i got the ice cream blended with oreo and skor bits and it was super good! the ladies who served us were super nice as well!
Very yummy Soft serve. Firtime I had cotton Candy dipped cone and the second time butter scotch both very yummy. So many different flavors to pick from. And it's not just ice cream cones. Go have a peek and try something out.
Was particularly nice to see it open once again! Our family had gone to Simcoe forest for a nice long hike and it was great just to stop in t for a ice cream treat. Lots of people there too which made for a nice atmosphere
My kids love the Ice Cream Hut! It's the best ice cream. Fast, fresh, clean and your order is always correct. There are a million different flavors and combinations. Highly recommend!
