This place is a bar. It's terrific. Daytime dude is a great bartender. Micturition experience involves a trough. Often out of soap, but there is no door handle to touch - so it cancels out! Best bar in Ellensburg.
Great place! The young female bartender with the freckles was superb. She said she's new but you'd never know it. And the locals make you feel right at home.
Horrible service; The bartender acts like it's a major inconvenience to do her job and serve customers who are trying to enjoy themselves. A group of 4 of us all adults, not college kids sat down around 7:30pm, had a cocktail each, then ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and was told, very matter of factly, that the bartender won't serve certain drinks after 8pm because people act out. Get real. This bartender is a nuisance; I'm not writing this review after only one bad experience.
This is a great dive bar! If you are lucky Ellie will be your bartender! Was super inviting and fun! Huge selection of pull tabs!
Whilst on a road trip with a buddy from Vancouver BC, we stopped into a dozen or so bars in several different cities. Of all of them we received the best service here and the friendliest atmosphere. If we're back in town, this will be the first port of call....
Friday evening around 6 pm on July 25th 2020, give or take an hour. I went in, no customers that i noticed. Bartender forced me to put on a mask even after I told her that i had a medical condition. After putting on the mask she poured me a beer, I said something about that the masks are not good for people She immediately poured out the full beer that she had just poured and kicked me out the bar. I was not rude, she was rude to me. No wonder she had no customers.
Great place to hang out with friends. $2.50 Budweiser on the tap when I went in Thursday. They have 2 pool tables and a mini lounge area, and bar area. Womens bathroom has one toliet! I don't know about the men's restroom. There is a jukebox on site. Place has good energy. Good prices.
The service here is awful. The bartender did not have any people skills and her attitude was about as good as a monkey when you violate it's space. When we left a tip that we felt was wort the bartender's time and labor, the bouncer confronted us. He was aggressive when he asked why but did not accept our answer of bad service. I will not be attending this bar again and the dog makes food service unsanitary.
This bar is near and dear to my heart. Back in 1897+/- my grandfather started the Horseshoe cigar store. Overtime it became a tavern. After my grandfather passed away my Uncle took over the reins and eventually my Cousin ran the bar. It is out of our family now but we still like to stop in for a cold one!
Good place to come for a drink on a random night of the week. It isnt very busy during the week days but the staff is nice and they have deals. Like on Thursdays they have 4$ mules and after 8pm it's ladies night and they have other deals then. Wish they'd post when they were having specials on here but they don't. Feel free to give them a call if you have questions though. They have pool and sports on tv. Everyone now and then there are dogs in here.
