The best Mushroom soup I ever have. I have not been there for a while, at least two years. I have companies and I cannot find a place to have breakfast. Went to Rancher and it closed Monday and Tuesday. Went to Agassiz delicatessen closed . I was very happy that I give the Horn a chance. What a different. Different cook and server. Worth well
Throwback to a old fashioned small town diner. The food was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Interesting collages and pictures line the walls. Bathrooms could use some freshening up, but if you can look past the rough edges, this seems like a nice hometown place.
This is a great little Cafe to go to on your way in or out of Harrison. Service and food are great. I got an omelet and it was delicious. It came with hashbrowns and toast I chose sourdough I highly recommend checking this place out. Parking: Tons of parking available.
The waitress is a fabulous gal, she has a great sense of humor and takes great care of you. The owner is always friendly and courteous.. a very clean quaint restaurant. Good food. Five tables only during Covid times. Longest wait time has been 5 minutes.. Just to add a note you must try the apple pie there it is scrumptious, old style flaky crust just like Gramma or mom used to make it Hubby says the Bread pudding was really good as well!
Had fish and chips special. A bit greasy but just the right amount of breading and crunchy and soft delicious fish. Fries were yummy too. Also had a piece of apple crumble pie with ice cream on top that was homemade, delicious, perfection. Staff was pretty great too. I'll definitely be going back for breakfast soon. This is one of those hole in the wall looking places next to a gas station that turns out to knock your socks off. 100% a hidden gem you'll want to tell everyone about but also keep secret so they don't run out of pie.
Great customer service. Came in for breakfast but it was past the service time for it. Had a coffee and left but owner came out behind me and told me he would personally make me breakfast since it was slow enough. Food was great, prices were good. Definitely recommend. Good to see there’s still great little cafes like this out there.
My wife and I were very excited to eat here. When we got our food, we dug in. Unfortunately, when I lifted my sandwich, I discovered a LIVE ANT underneath my food in the takeout container. P.S. I look forward to removing this bad review when the situation is amended!
Great little out of the way cafe. Lots of great made from scratch items. Home made fries and some less run-of-the-mill burgers like Elk and Kangaroo.Food: 4/5
TERRIFIC MEAL. My wife and I dropped by Horn of Plenty yesterday Sept. 10, 2020 for breakfast for the first time. It was wonderful. Freshly made food, toast, coffee and tea. What a change from the norm. Our service person was very pleasant and she was very attentive, again what a welcome change. The only "suggestion" we would have is the outdoor patio area needs some "lovin'". A good pressure wash on the side of the building and a trim around the gardens would really spruce this area up ! Bottom-line, we WILL be back, next time maybe for lunch, then breakfast again and again.....TWO THUMB'S UP!
Very delicious, fresh breakfast. The potatoes were my favorite as they were full of flavor and crispy. I got the Mexican omelette and it paired well with the salsa and sour cream. Sourdough bread was also delicious. The portions are large and prices reasonable
