Drinks are kind of pricey but whay you would expect at any bar. The bartenders are nice and serve you quickly. There's free popcorn which is amazing. Good place and comfortable environment, but very much for college kids. There's a few locals that come in, but it's swarming with college kids Thursday and Saturday nights.
The long time classic bar of canton, full of nostalgia and history. Cash only so come prepared. Pool and darts for those looking.
The Hoot Owl provided many enjoyable happy hours back while attended SUNY Canton. Paid them a visit last year, unfortunately when I went they were closed, too early in the day. It was an old railroad station which is where the name comes from. This place is definitely worth a look and at least a few drinks
I worked here in the 70’s, same name. legendary times. Should qualify as a Historical landmark.
Fair in most areas, but probably a 5 in Canton, NY. of the options available, this is good enough. Don't expect complex drinks by the bar staff, but you can expect good prices and cold beer with a happy crowd.
Heads up: they don't accept cards and don't have an ATM. Bring cash with you. Great drink specials and a casual sports bar environment with plenty of bar games and seating available.
Remodel and put a kitchen in!!! I realize it's a college town and kids try to sneak drinks underage but please don't be harsh of dds simply waiting for their friends to get out of the bar. I like this place otherwise.
I'm drunk and this is ABSOLUTELY the best place ever. Super fast service, good games and good friends!!!
Fun local bar in canton. The staff are friendly and the prices are great.
Great place to have a drink after a softball game.
