Staff has no interest in helping you. After I do get help I have twice been given the totally wrong product, staff talked down to me and acted like they were the foremost industry leading expert on interior lighting. Cashier staff are always nice though. Tool selection is mostly made in China junk, lumber is warped and sad.

Standard home depot with lots of parking, ckean washrooms and reasonably priced goods. Garden plants in spring are well priced and healthy.

I know some of us have mixed experiences in this store. Some good & some bad perhaps due to a lazy or unhappy employee. Maybe he was refused a pay hike thats left to be debated. But from a proffesiomal standpoint customers come 1st. Generally most of my visits the associates have been curteous, conducive in helping me decide on the right product based on my questions. Only once had I encountered where the staff had shut down an aisle relocating shelving and did not bother to answer my question leaving me standing around for more than 15 mins. by myself. I was looking for smoke alarms.

There is a manager in the kitchen department, who was rude to his staffmate and to me yesterday evening. His tone was very short and aggravated and it instantly turned me off of a sale. It felt very much like a power trip and he was getting upset for something the other staffmate clearly wasn't trained to do yet. So there are a few concerns here. Why are the staff undertrained, and why are the managers angry that they are undertrained when it was likely the managers who needed to train them? I feel so sorry for his staffmate who has to work in that environment. He was clearly afraid to ask him a question in the first place and now I know why. It was shocking and sad.

Staff is friendly and helpful; especially associates in electrical and plumbing departments have helped me numerous times over the past several years so I am very grateful. The BIG issue with this store is warehousing/stocking. I don't mean to be disrespectful here but it feels like monkeys would run it better. I can't count how many times I have placed an online order to pick up at store and my order was cancelled the next day because their "inventory information was not accurate". Besides inaccurate inventory information, they are out of several items quite frequently for weeks or months at a time. If I were the management, I would definitely make a dramatic change in how their inventory is being handled. I only shop here because this store is physically very close to me; otherwise I would not ever want to waste my time in there.
