Its a decent Home depot, parking is good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Prices have gone up and tool selection has gone down lately. Store is definitely starting to show its age. lumber selection is good, but quality is generally poor.nnWorth going in for the sales, but not worth a special trip.
This review is not for the Pembroke Home depot store. When I have things delivered from the local store the service is excellent.nnThis review is about the online ordering experience overall. Every time I have had things come that where not at the local store 90% of the time there is a issue weather it be that all products did not come all at the same time even though the delivery day was for the same time.nnI recently ordered cabinets and they where left outside in the rain/snow and where not properly sealed from the moisture so I had to return multiple cabinets due to water damage.nnWhen buy the products online it say the transaction is complete so I assume it comes off my card right away but that is not the case. please process the full payment when the order is placed not days or weeks later.nnHome depot has the worst online ordering that i use. please fix this.
I think the staff are awesome at this location. To the manager of the Pembroke location, I tried calling several times and never even got your voice mail... I wanted to tell you about the young man on the Pro desk yesterday, November 20th. This mans work ethic exemplifies what an employee is supposed to be. He went above and beyond to assist me. I also wanted to say that HomeDepot's website for online orders is confusing. Please tell your upper management that it needs to be redesigned.
Melanie was polite and professional associate. She helped me with my returns which never used. The process was quick and easy. Great work ethic and customer service Melanie. I highly recommend Melanie for help.
Store experience was poor. I had to go to a different department and have them call a representative over. Then one came that had zero knowledge of the product a shower surround and base. Then another came and told me that yes they had the product in store that I wanted but could not give it to me for the advertised price because the one they had was 2 separate pieces and the one online came in a single pre packaged box. The difference was 20% so I was told in order to get that price i had to order online yet it was right in front of me. Order on the 14th was given a delivery date of 17-30th nothing came in. It's almost impossible to get through to customer service. I went to a competitor that had the same product at a better price and had it in stock yet I now couldn't cancel because apparently it's in transit for weeks. I was told.multiple times that it will be in the next day and it's the 6th now and still nothing. This place is not worth the frustration.
