I recently had a highly disappointing experience with the rental shop at Home Depot, and I feel compelled to share my frustrations. Renting tools from them has been an ongoing nightmare, characterized by consistent issues with the equipment being broken or malfunctioning.nnOn multiple occasions, I’ve rented tools only to discover upon arrival at my project site that they were either non-functional or in such poor condition that they were practically unusable. Also while showing up at Home Depot to find out the tool is out of service after booking it online. This recurring problem has caused significant delays in my work, leading to wasted time and resources.nnThe most frustrating aspect is the apparent lack of quality control. It seems that the tools are not properly inspected or maintained before being rented out again. Each time I return a faulty tool, I receive assurances that this is a rare occurrence, yet it happens repeatedly.nnCustomer service has also been less than satisfactory. While the staff is generally polite, their responses to these issues have been dismissive, offering little more than basic apologies and the promise of a replacement tool—which often turns out to be just as problematic.nnOverall, my experience with Home Depot’s rental shop has been consistently negative, with tools that are unreliable and service that falls short of addressing the core issues. I would strongly advise against relying on their rental services if you need equipment that works efficiently and dependably.
This store is absolutely great. As a customer service manager I must say how impressed I am about the staff… in particular, Ortega and manveet. These staff members were absolutely great and helped us buy the product we were looking for. They were also polite and very welcoming. We did not have to look for assistance because they came right to us to help out.
I would like to give a shout out to the people at Customer Service in Bolton Angie, Heather, Melissa and Jayden, sorry if spelling is not correct They were kind polite and understanding of my situation and went out of their way to assist me beside the 1 manager that wouldn’t give me the time of day and simply told me no didn’t get his name. Home Depot needs to review their Warranty Company as they take your money and tell you when you need them sorry we can’t help. I can just imagine all the money they make off the warranties and do not honour. These employees helped and apologized for the time it took to resolve an issue that in the end could have been resolved in the first 5 minutes I got there instead of the 1 hour later. Again thank you for your help today.
It’s very hard to find staff to help us with anything. Waited over 20 minutes finally got someone to help. That person was helpful.nnLooks like they are ready for summer good selections of outdoor furniture and plants.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well organized. Good selection of competitive brands. Very satisfied.
