Had a confirmed reservation and paid for for several weeks at 1:30 on Christmas Eve 2024. We had three families organized for a family skate before Christmas.nnJustin calls me late the night before to cancel our ice time since they decided to close last minute. I asked if they’d honour their ice time and contract and he says “I’m just doing what the owner asked me to.” Apparently the owner can’t call because he is at home as was I.nnWhat a disappointment and poor business practice. If you were planning to close early then you could have called us weeks ago.nnShame on you.
Our California born grandson came for a visit and wanted to go to a goalie/hockey camp. He went to the Hockey Club in Aurora run by Tom Lawson and his most incredible coaches. Each and every kid received clear instructions learning new skills and honing their own. If you have a young hockey enthusiast PLEASE check out the Hockey Club. Our grandson may be from California, but his Canadian genes seemed to flourish!
On November 24th we visited the location around 10:15AM. We left our skates to get sharpened and was advised it would take about 20-30 minutes.nnWhen we walked in the kid at the counter wasn’t sharpening any skates. There might have been 1 skate ahead of us. We came back after 30 minutes to having both skates not sharpened.nnDisappointed since we needed our son’s skates sharpened before hockey.
We've been attending training and purchasing equipment from THC for over a year now and never fail to have a very positive experience. Great people and expertise on and off the ice.
This place is great!Their staff and instructors are amazing!My Son loved it here and we will definitely be renting ice again here in the future!
