Went to this great little restaurant for work late on Saturday night. It came highly recommended by the locals as a great spot to tuck into a good steak and a cold beer. It did not disappoint! The staff were super freindly and quick. The menu has a little bit of everything and the prices were great. I'll tell ya, it hit the spot after being on the road all day. Lots of good beer and the food was spot on. If you're in the area I highly recommend this great place! Parking: Lots of parking convenient location
On a visit to Fredericton for the first time. I gave 3 stars for quality vs price of the food. I give 5 stars to the waitress for despite being understaffed was very nice and polite. Waited a long time to be served but I’m not complaining about that because I do understand the staffing issues. I don’t understand all the comments about how great the burger was, because mine was really ordinary. Almost 15$ just for the burger alone, plus, sides are extra? What a disappointing pricing strategy. Lots of alcohol choices is a plus. Overall, waitress friendly, food just ok, long wait. Maybe I’ll give them a second chance before I leave Fredericton, unless I stumble upon a better restaurant in town.
I read some reviews saying it is a gem and I was curious. It really doesn't disappoint! From the ambiance, the service and the food, everything was really great! I definitely recommend to stop by!
Amazing food and beverage! This place has a long history of fun local events, music, dancing, and a gathering place for every age. University students used to love Tuesdays!
I took a leap of faith and visited the Hilltop Tavern last week, I had heard many negative this about this restaurant. I entered their spotless restaurant, staff was most welcoming. Our server was so nice, and very attentive. Our meal was amazing. My friend and I each had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection, you could cut it with a fork. Our meal, our service, and the atmosphere were outstanding. I will definitely be going back. Thank you.
This place should be way busier than it is. Went on Thursday App night.... Had the best wings I've had in a long time in this city. Service was top notch, super friendly. Great popcorn too. In 20 years of going here I've never had a bad meal. Great steaks and burgers.Food: 5/5
I would have to say they were very accommodating. We came in with around 18 people last minute after our basketball game. They only had one server on staff at the time. The server was friendly, always providing excellent service. I had the Alabama burger with fries, the fries were delicious with the dipping sauce they provided. The burger was okay, very messy. Overall I recommend
We were not made aware that the fries were being charged additionally. The portion for the lobster roll was small, not worth the money. The burgers were good and had interesting flavours.
Top notch. Great atmosphere, but we were there when it was not too busy, very roomy. The food was quite tasty and done how we asked. I thought the meat loaf serving in house was smaller than when we ordered from home. The Pub Steak was delicious! Service seemed a little slow but that was ok. All in all a good experience.Food: 5/5
We love coming here! Never disappoints. Very large restaurant, with lots of seating. The food is always great and the portions we've always been happy with. Personal favourites are the lamb burger and the Goat cheese, Cranberry, and Pecan salad. I can't have goat cheese and they substitute it for feta no problem :Food: 5/5
