The Guitar World Oakville opened in 2010 with a few simple rules in mind; provide fair pricing, an excellent selection, expert advice and, most importantly, the best customer service in the industry. We also have a world class repair facility.

We offer music lessons for all skill levels by qualified instructors in a private learning environment. Our teachers’ abilities range from University degrees in music, degrees from the Humber School of Jazz to real world professional “rock” musicians.

The owner was amazing. I'm from out of town and was looking for a 5 string bass. I got an amazing piece and he made sure I was taken care of and that I was happy with my purchase. After previously getting intruments from a certain chain *cough* L&M and I was never really happy when I left the store. I couldn't have been happier leaving the store and I will check out this spot every time I'm back in Oakville.

I have driven by a few times but didn’t go in as the storefront appeared too small to have a large selection. Went in today and boy was I mistaken. Huge selection of reasonably priced guitars Accessories and related merchandise. The owner is great to deal with. So I bought another guitar.... I will be back

I went to guitar world in 2016 and bought a used ibenez electric guitar. I was a new guitar player and trusted the store owners advise. When I went back home in Brampton, 1 hour drive, I couldn’t play it without buzz. I bought it for $400 and it has severe fret buzz and flat frets. A BIG DISHONEST SERVICE MAN. I have to pay a full guitar recrowning for $250 the price of the guitar new(added to the $400)! Imagine a guitar I could get for 700$ I think his name was David and he was in his mid 50’s+ looked like the owner.

Friendly staff, would like to thank one of the staff the bass player (can't remember his name) bend over backwards to locate a part that i needed on my warwick.
