The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and quite a selection on the menu. The food is very tasty and nicely presented. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The service was right on. I had the meatloaf and my wife had a hamburger both were very delicious. We will be back to try some other things on the menu.
A Traditional English Pub . They offer a new menu with great service. My order was delicious. Though its tucked out of the way its worth plugging in to Google maps to find if your visiting Comox.
First visit for us. Felt like a real pub and our food was delicious. The portions were good and the sticky toffee pudding was second to none. Will recommend and return.
Best chili ever! First of all, not ground beef but chuck roast and seasoned to perfection! Served in a bread bowl,it was delish! The Griffin has always had good food consistently.
Best place to dine in. Had Fish n Chips and that's amazing. Very friendly staff and nice pub. Definitely recommend going there.
Service good. Food just okay. Could use an update. Busy. I had the mushroom barley risotto. Large serving, it was okay but I wouldn't order it again.
We immediately described the vibe as "the pubbiest pub," and the menu has all the pub classics, but done SO well. The deep fried pickles were top notch, my salad was great, and the prime rib special was so big that we took half home and turned it into breakfast for two. Great selection of Vancouver Island beer on tap.
A cozy place with good vibe, friendly service good food and great beers! I enjoyed 15% discount voucher received from airport National car rental!
Everywhere I looked, the decor caught my eye. Our meals and bevvies were full of flavour. After one of us commented on their delicious salad, we learned that efforts are made to keep the menu local and kitchen-made as possible. I'll be back to try the caesar salad.
The food and atmosphere is so good! It seems they've updated their menu since I was last here because it's a really great menu. The burgers are delicious and the staff are friendly. Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait to get service but I think maybe they're understaffed or just busy, and when they serve you it's with a smile.
