Fun Quirky local favorite breakfast place. Has a 50's vibe. We had good food and fast friendly service. We tried the quesadilla, the french toast and classic breakfast. Delicious! Highly recommend!
I went once and ended up going every single morning. The Griddle serves a top-tier breakfast. My favorite, the Almond Crusted French Toast, topped with berries and powdered sugar, was mouthwatering. The servers were friendly and efficient, and the meals were reasonably priced. Recommend calling beforehand because wait times can vary. Wish the hash browns were served in a more significant portion and a bit warmer.
Wonderful service and, somehow, even better food. The price was fair, as well, especially for the quality. I'd recommend trying this place out for breakfast or lunch. It's perfect.
I'm in the parking lot sitting in my vehicle trying to breath in and out properly because of how much I ate. This has hands down been the best breakfast diner visit I've ever had in Boise. I walked in and Sienna greeted me. Extremely cute and her smile was heart melting. I chose to sit at the bar because there were only two tables left and I didn't want to hog a table of four. This place was packed. I was patient though since I am here for a while. Daniel was my server and greeted me right away. Lexi also came over and brewed 3 shots to down with me and Daniel. Absolute surprise, this was the first time I took group shots of espresso! Now they totally knocked my expectations out. Lexi knows how to pull a really good shot! The fact that The Griddle uses a special blend of Dawson Taylor beans for their restaurant is a big plus, as they have such good flavor! The shot given to me was strong but the crema was so delightful. Next up, Daniel had to help me order. I was stuck between the Country Fried Steak and a benedict, I can't remember the name. They suggested I tried the one on special which I also forgot the name of, but either way it was incredible! I finished it so fast because I was starving. Daniel made me an amazing vanilla latte. It was sweet but the flavor of the shot was insanely bold. He knows how to pull a shot too and he wants to make it clear that the bean rules the latte. The crema was very bold, and that's what struck me hard. Finally, Sienna was an awesome girl to talk to. I really enjoyed speaking with everyone though and all the workers here were outgoing. I am so happy to see young staff here that works very well in a fast paced situation, you don't see that a lot anymore. I will be back for two more shots made by Daniel and Lexi, plus to see Sienna's smile! Thank you Griddle for an amazing experience!
Popped into Boise for 36hours and found this great breakfast dinner tucked away in a building. Ambiance was greater than expected. Food was perfect. Highly recommended if you are looking to grab something really quickly and go.Food: 5/5
I came for the fried red beets for breakfast. Love them. The cinnamon pumpkin pancakes are not too sweet and have great flavor. Service is amazing. Everything is delicious. They have Diet Coke with refills.
Food is amazing. Service is fun, friendly and very personable. Ameen was amazing. Food was well priced and generous portions.
We wanted to go to another restaurant but the wait time to get in was an hour or more. So I looked up this place and it was really busy here too but they got us sat down right away, as we took an outside table because inside was full. I had a couple of changes to my order to get what I wanted and they were able to accommodate without a problem. Parking: It's in a little strip mall area so there are spots close to the restaurant or a big lot on the side. Plenty of parking.
Busy place. Had about a 25 minute wait, but once got in things went quick. Food was outstanding. Good.down home food. You will not be disappointed.Food: 5/5
Eh I feel like it’s ok, came after reading the reviews but food taste alright. I also feel like it’s a little over priced for the quality of food you get. They are pretty quick at getting your food out to you and servers are friendly
