Definetely not Seattle's best coffee and you could taste the coffee grounds which will certainly buzz up your energy. I should have gone with my gut when I noticed the super weird vibe and creepy piano music at this place.
I loved the place. I had a veggie omelette and kids had waffles and pancakes. Big portions, everything was delicious and friendly staff!
I buy coffee here every week. The inside of this cafe is not a fancy one, however their coffee is stunning. I am a fan of cafe latte who have tasted latte in thousands of coffee shop. Their latte is way better than starbucks. Their espresso shots and milk make a great combination. Please don't change any ingredients. I am sure that they are using very high quality coffee bean.
Awful customer service. Went in search of a takeout breakfast/coffee with my toddler in a small travel stroller. Came across the Green Star Cafe and thought I’d give it a try. Initially did not notice the “No baby strollers” sign on the door as I walked in as it’s not something I’ve ever encountered. I was immediately greeted with no other words than “No strollers!” The owner then rushed from behind the counter to point out the sign and hastened me out of the cafe. The cafe was dead…empty tables. There I stood outside stunned and embarrassed. She then opened a window I could order from outside with a limited menu taped to it, and walked away. No thanks. I quickly left and walked 3 minutes further to Muddy Waters Cafe where my child was welcomed, and we shared an amazing carrot cake.
If I could give a 0 I would. Walked 15 minutes to get breakfast with my 8 month old and went into this business. Once inside, I was told loudly and rudely “no strollers! Go to the side window to order”. The place only had 3 other customers in it and my stroller was not disturbing any of them. Some common sense and courtesy on the staffs part would go a long way. It leaves me wondering how they would accompany someone in a wheelchair? And also, if their tables are so close together, are they meeting fire codes? Terrible service and not family oriented.
Came in to get an ice cream for the kids and eat it outside, but got heck for bringing in a stroller. Buy myself I'm not leaving my kids outside. Told him I was taking my money elsewhere. Every other store on the strip mall allows strollers. Which are full of breakables. Definitely not family friendly.
Paid 8 dollars for a "grilled cheese" which was just two pieces of wonder bread with a single slice of Kraft ie fake cheese. You literally couldn't pay me 8 dollars to eat that. The iced caramel latte was awful, tasted purely of corn syrup. There's overpriced tourist food and then there's plain extortion. We also ordered a muffin which was stale and clearly days old. This place would benefit from dropping their entire "food" menu and sticking to ice-cream and coffee.
This place is adorable. I was here January on a weekday. This place is the relaxing coffee shop with music that one looks for on YouTube to study. I would definitely return to this place.
Ordered the 'special breakfast', arrived at the table and I could clearly see there's nothing special about it! The egg and bacon was super dry and looks cheap and hashbrowns were a gloppy mess.Thankful for the 3 small pieces of toast, which is the best thing there is without even having to cook it.Pancake was disgustingly soggy and bland
There is no customer service, I was by myself in the store, I salute the owner, she started doing something else showing me the back. I was there to eat, but after waiting few minutes I left. I came back later and ordered an ice cream, but it was not fresh unfortunately. I don't recommend this place at all. Unpleasant experience 100%.
