Good first experience! The indoor was authentic, and I specially loved the four outdoor greek statues! Our server was trying to be a great one, but she was not %100 successful, and we experienced a couple of things we didn’t like. She recommended good dishes, tho, for which I appreciate her. The food was yummy but a little salty and a bit expensive, but we knew this already! They didn’t have a baby changing station in the washroom, which made me super uncomfortable when I needed to change my baby in the car and had to eat a cold dinner. Overall we liked our experience, and we might come back here just to show the place to a friend who is visiting Okanagan!
Had a dinner here while I traveled in Lake County. My friend had PAIDAKIA which is broiled chop from rack of lamb, it was very tender and flavourful. The Dolmathes Appetizer was excellent and big portion of 7 pieces. Usually i dont fancy for it but i enjoyed this one. Moussaka was a bit dried. I ended up half portion to go. Asked the service give me a folk and she bought me a nice paper bag w knife n fork w napkins. I would consider Good food and service at this local restaurant. Will definitely visit again. P.S. the Pita Bread not come with Tzatziki sauce.
Massive portions! Perfect for sharing and you'll definitely end up with leftovers. Staff are very friendly, the venue is so unique and it's a much visit
The food here is ridiculously good. A tad pricey but you will always get great portions, good service, and a cozy familial atmosphere. A must-try if you are coming through lake country or in Kelowna. Lamb shoulder arni psito is my personal fav. Their potatoes and tzatziki are also delicious! In photo: zorba platter. Bit of everything, absolutely worth it.
Fantastic service! Polite, attentive and very quick. Wish we had such service at restaurants back in Vernon. Ordered the "Greek platter for two" - food was delicious and between the salad, bread and main course, this meal can easily feed three adults.
Candace is an amazing server and was thoughtful throughout the evening. The food did not disappoint! Always a great atmosphere and dining experience. Not to miss if you have the opportunity. Thank you Greek House!Food: 5/5
The food is well prepared and abundant. The meat is properly cooked. I think the price, quality and quantity ratio is well balanced. I went on the recommendation of friends and I was not disappointed. I'll be back.Food: 5/5
We had really good service and the food was good too. We had calamari and pita bread for appy’s. those were good but nothing special. Then we had chicken and lamb souvlaki. The lamb was very good and the chicken was moist. The mains came with rice, potatoes and a Greek salad. The salad was bland. Rice and the potatoes were really good. If you are looking for a good Greek house in the Okanagan, I’d recommend the one in Rutland called Olympia. Overall, we had good food here and we enjoyed our time and we would recommend going here if you a looking for a good meal in winfield. But it’s definitely not the best Greek food I’ve had.
Ate there last night. I had the 1/2 BBQ chicken and my wife had the chicken souvlaki. The price was a bit high but the portions were large. Two people could easily share a main. However my BBQ chicken was excruciatingly dry. I normally don't mind if chicken is a bit dry but this was unacceptably dry. It felt like the chicken was left under heating lamp all day and then slathered in BBQ sauce. My wife's chicken souvlaki was not dry, but we both got sick the next day from our meals! Do not recommend.
Super clean, attentive and friendly, wine carafe was filled to the brim when they brought it to us, always a bonus. Warning, the portions were huge! Calamari was fresh with lemon and super crispy, steak was done right and well seasoned, we were split on who preferred the potatoes or the rice better. They were very accommodating with intolerances, my sister is FODMAP and they got her order right and didn't have to come back to clarify her requests. Ended it with a home made slice of baklava, buttery with a hint of cinnamon. Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation, nice quiet spot for my moms birthday and service was quick, we all agree it deserved 5 stars. Enjoy.
