Delicious food, pleasant staff, and conveniently located, I’m so glad I discovered Greek Freak by accident during a Google search for food close the highway on my way home one day. All the food is very flavourful, it is incredibly easy to call or order online I have done both, and the portions are excellent. After ordering a few times on my way east, I decided to order a feast from the Greek Freak for my family’s Thanksgiving dinner this year. My mother had just gotten out of hospital and had a very restricted list of what she could eat. Having enjoyed the food in the past, I knew it would be a hit. Everyone loved and enjoyed each of the items I ordered. This included a freak wrap, both the chicken and pork skewers, the rice, salad, pita and of course the potatoes, which are to die for! My family still fondly talks about that meal when we visit, and I have brought over various items I have ordered since. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in what I consider to be the best Greek food I have ever enjoyed.
Fresh food in generous portions. Gyro dinner was amazing. The wrap was a little lacking flavor and the sauce was runny. Overall great value for the money.
We placed a Catering Order for our company meeting. The food was delicious and hot. They helped us to choose options for special vegetarian diet. They wrapped up everything nicely with vegetarian stuff separately. Kudos to you guys! Looking forward to order again!
It was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered takeout over the phone and after the call, they texted me directly after to let me know how long it would take. Since it was a Saturday night, my takeout order would take about 40min. I ordered the family feast dinner, which included 8 souvlaki sticks, a large Greek salad, a large lemon potatoes, rice and fresh house made tzatziki and pita. We also decided to order a large rice on the side. The Chicken Skewers were delicious, so fresh and marinated so well. The Greek Salad was a bit small for large, but it was pretty good. The Lemon Potatoes were well cooked but were a tad bland for my taste The Rice was my least favourite, it was pretty hard and not enjoyable. Lastly, I was pretty surprised to see the pita was actually cut up into squares, it was an interesting change from what I'm used, but still pretty good. For the amount of food we got, it was pretty worth it, I wish they gave a bit more salad though it was only enough for 2 people . Our bill came out to around $60 after tax and was enough for a family of 4 adults and we still had half a portion left over the next day. They staff were so kind and friendly as well. Overall a pretty good experience.
I recently ordered takeout tonight from The Greek Freak, and it was my first time ever trying it. The portions were great especially for price that you pay for, and the food was delicious. Chicken was well seasoned and the rice and Pita were a great pairing. Unfortunately, I think the Tzatziki is a bit too tangy and the potatoes were a bit salty. But what was the most upsetting, was the fact that I had ordered Greek fries and paid extra for them, but they weren’t anywhere in the bag or the container I would order from them and recommend again in the future.
Ordered a family meal for an event today. This is my 2nd time I've ordered the food here for an event. Don't waste your time the chicken was barely cooked. The large salad was not enough to feed 6 adults. The Greek potatoes to salty tasting. Thank God there was 2 containers of rice. Not enough food! For the huge price$$$ will never go back.
Not a good place to sit in. Food taste ok. Affordable price. Quick service.Food: 4/5
First time here, enjoyed the veggie pita I got. 2 guys working behind the counter. Only 1 other customer waiting for his order, and it looked like the one cook was getting a large takeout order together. My pita was just enough, wrapped perfectly, and the seasoning on the fries was so good. Would visit again.Food: 5/5
Not sure whats happened to this place. When it first opened, it was incredible quality, taste and value. But recently, I spent $90 for a family chicken + pork meal and they completely forgot to give us our greek salads. Because i was hosting, I didn't have time to call and explain what happened. This isn't the reason though why I am giving them 2 stars. The taste and quality have gone down substantially. The rice was bland and the vegetables were literally the mixed frozen vegetables you get from the grocery store. The chicken and pork souvlaki skewers were overcooked and difficult to chew. I have heard owners changed in recent years...but didn't expect the quality to change either. I'll be sticking with Greek Tycoon from now on, its my fault for steering away.
Amazing customer service. I placed an order through Uber eats and unfortunately a couple of items were missing and I gave the store a call. Although I was upset, Mr. B I'm sorry I don't know how to spell his name came up with many resolutions for me and he was able to make up for the whole situation. I'm sorry for how I responded the first time, but I'm so grateful that they stick to their promises as well. Thank you for the great food and customer service as always!
