The food was incredible, don't think you could go wrong with any dish. The mozzarella fritta was absolutely amazing. Will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
Wonderful atmosphere, great staff and really good food. Expect a short wait, it's a small restaurant, but it's worth it. I got lasagna for dinner and fried mozzarella as an appetizer, both were hot and delicious. The drink list was pretty good as well.
Mare ricci and seafood lasagna. Delicious bruschetta and very nice side salad. Garlic knots a bit floury. Nice atmosphere and great friendly service. $$
Great food and great service too! My husband and I enjoyed our date night dinner here. It was a fabulous evening. We enjoy the atmosphere. It was easy to hold a personal conversation. I highly recommend you go here and enjoy their seafood pasta Alfredo. yummy! Kid-friendliness: They have a good selection for your children to choose food. They have nice wide booths to hold a baby in a car seats or a child in a booster seats. Plus the seating is a good setup for helping to keep the children at your own table area. No need to worry about them getting up and wandering off, if you turn your back for 5 seconds. Just set them on the inside of the booth, next to the wall. Let them color quietly while they wait for their meal. Parking: There was parking available on both sides of the street. Plus I noticed a side street on both sides of the road. I do not know if there is a parking lot or not. I didn't notice one but it was busy with traffic and it dark when we arrived and left. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance was street level so I can only assume it would be accessible by a wheelchair.
Drive down south from Acadia with 10 ppl group and every restaurant near coast line that have 4.4+ star are full from boothbay down here. Thai is the only restaurant that offered us a table at 7:30pm. We got seated at 7:45, which is way later than our normal dinner time. My little one is very hungry and the front desk staff helped us to get order in really quick. The buns and salad are soso. The bun is a little greesy and salty and the salad is drenched in sauce. But the meal is much better and we are all very satisfied. We ordered Verdura al Napoleon, Bistecca Fiorentina, Pollo Tuscany, Pesce Cipolla, and Pesce Arancia. The vege dish is yummy. The chicken is flavorful, juicy, and creamy. My husband and kids liked the steak. These are good cuts that are tender for 3 year old to eat. The saltiness balanced by the noodle and its marinara sauce. Note that the marinara sauce is not salty and strong but very refreshing with good ripe tomato flavor. I loved it. It has a hint of spiciness to it and kids can eat spaghetti with a little sauce on it. Both haddick dish are to the sweet side. The cranberry/honey one is sweeter than the canalized onion one. But both are ok to us. But kids loved the flavor.
We had great service there. The wait for the entree was a little longer than it should have been, but the salads and garlic knots were out quickly and were good. The entrees were quite good though, and we will be back for more. In all fairness, I'm a little taller than average and found the booth pretty uncomfortable. This might have played a part in me feeling that the entrees were a bit slow. I didn't time it, but by the time we were done, I was ready to stand up. My wife was fine, so I'll look for a cushioned seat next time.
When I got in about 10 years ago, the food was pretty good. Have tried multiple times since and haven't been able to get in. Tough to find parking, no reservations, no wait time estimates, etc, just lots of people waiting with no place to sit. Glad it's still open even if I never get to eat there again!
Wonderful service. Perfect prices. Delicious food. Will be back!
A friend and I had lunch there today, we both ordered the lasagna. Hers has some red sauce, mine had none; there were so many globs of cheese, I could only eat less than half, and now I'm at home and feeling unwell. I've been there before and the food was usually good, but not today!
The food was delicious and fresh but I’m really not sure if it’s worth more than an hour wait. They don’t take reservations and are not clear about how long you’ll be waiting for a table. We called ahead but still ended up waiting more than an hour to eat, the only reason we were seated was because the person ahead of us left due to the long wait! Great place but I won’t be going back anytime soon since they don’t take reservations.
