Stopped by for breakfast on a road trip up north. Walked in to a newly reopened and repainted place. Wonderful decor, friendly staff, great food, standard prices. Good visit. My dad and I both left pretty impressed when We really expected a simple truck stop which it was at one time. Great visit.
We always love this place..it is our tradition to stop there when driving between Grand Rapids and home. We love the gift shop. Store. Restaurant. I'd give it 5 *s but every time I use the ladies' room the toilets have something wrong. Today, the toilet water was brown.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is amazing and it has breakfast all day long! You will not walk away hungry!
We had stopped at this restaurant today and the service was awful here's why: the restaurant wasn't even busy and had 2 waitresses 1. Waitress didn't even acknowlege our presences for about 15 minutes 2. Had to ask the waitress to wipe off our dirty table 3. She never gave us silverware - had to take some from the nearby table 4. Waitress never came back to check on us and ask if we wanted anymore coffee 4. It took 45 minutes to get one order and the other order the cook messed up - waitress didn't even apologize 5. My friends order never arrived - so we left. Waitress still didn't apologize and asked if she wanted her meal in a to go box Never will I go to this restaurant again
First time stopping here on a trip north and amazed by the outrageous prices! Over $8 for just eggs and hash browns. Guess they can charge high prices with no competition but the place was quite empty on a Thurs morning. We shared an omelette and hash browns. Both were good and substantial.
This place is a little gem. I'm not sure why more people don't frequent the place. It's very clean and quiet, the staff is friendly and service is fast and accurate. It's attached to a truck stop, but the food is better than average truck stop fare. We eat here about once a month and it is consistently excellent.
If there were negative stars id give them -3 This has to be the slowest place we have ever stopped at while on the road. There were 5 tables seated and it took over an hour to get our over cooked burgers. One was close to burnt. No where near the medium ordered. The staff appeared to not have a clue on how to work or run a restaurant. Would have been better off at a Subway
The food was okay but the prices were pretty steep. Portions were large so most of us took food home. We asked for the room to be set up for 24, but it was set up for 12. We fixed that readily enough, but we should not have had to.
Place was very clean. Waitress was very sweet. Service was very good in the beginning. Food was good. But after you get your food. The dishwasher and the cook just wanted to talk to the waitress. Forget all about the customers
Twice now I have walked in been noticed by waitress and never got any service waited 10 MIN today she just decided to ignore the fact I was there and continued to just talk with others. When I decided to get up and leave is when she had started walking over with a menu i just scowled at her and left cause the previous experience was the same just longer waiting period of 25 minutes and no service so once again I had walked out. Don't think I'll even give them a chance for strikestrik three. Terrible way to run a business when all a driver wanted was a drink and a hot meal.
