A fantastic restaurant tucked away just a short distance from the beach. We were able to get a table for 4 with no reservation on a Friday night. Lisa, our server was wonderful. Friendly, attentive and made the experience a very pleasant one. The menu is fairly large with a variety of different options to cater for all. The two of us that had the carvery thoroughly enjoyed it and weren’t expecting such generous portions. The restaurant isn’t huge but they make good use of the available space and everything is very clean and well lit. As someone else has mentioned the toilet facilities are also very good upstairs. This was our first visit as we aren’t local to Littlehampton but we will definitely be back in the future. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options on the menu for all different types of arians and vegans. Parking: No parking directly outside venue but plenty of options within short walking distance.
We had a special carvery wake Mum would have loved it! at The Gravy Boat which is not something they are usually geared up for. However, Virginia and Ivan, and all their staff were great throughout and couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone enjoyed the food and service and it was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.
Another visit, another lovely experience. Staff kind and attentive, checking in and treating us wonderfully. The quality of the food, again, exceptional. Highlight for me is the pizza. Absolute top quality. Wonderful place for a special meal. Highly recommended

We ate there on 5th March 23 had a roast there were 3 of us all our dinners were cold potatoes hard ,carrots hard ,told waitress and she said I can put it in microwave to warm up , if I wanted a microwave meal I would have brought one, no apology.

Looks better then it tastes! This restaurant looks great, it is modern, trendy and is in very quiet town - which is why it stands out so much. It has a very extensive menu which may be a bit too extensive. It is great for Carverys but sadly that is all it is good at. The meat options are great it's very rare that you get lamb as a meat option. I would only stick to the carvery. On this occasion I opted for the lamb rump which I asked to be well done. The meal took a very long time to come out, about an hour and the restaurant wasn't busy at that time. The meat was very fatty and was not well done at all. The rest of the dish was bursting with flavour which was such a shame at the meat let it down. The ambiance is that of a very rushed place, it feels like they only want your money on busy nights. Their customer service is second to none. It is worth a visit but only for the Carvery, in my opinion.
Fabulous. Food was glorious, staff were attentive without being overly so, prices were fair. Our first time. It will *not* be our last & yes I did have salt n pepper squid for pudding
