We serve classic custom-made and specialty sandwiches with fresh prepared meats, homemade vegetarian soups, fresh cut fries, and a variety of poutines.
The Garage Sandwich Co. Ltd. opened in Toronto in 1995. We have been serving sandwiches with in house cooked meats and vegetarian “vegan” soups for 21 years. Careful attention to freshness, quality and service has been the hallmark of our success. Toronto Life Magazine crowned us as “Best of the City” Chili and Now Magazine readers voted us runner up for Best Sandwich in Toronto in 2005. Our theme is “Garage”, a lighthearted focus on highways and the automobile with a retro feel.
After 30 years in the big city, proprietor Randy Filby decided to search for a healthier environment to set up shop. After much research, all arrows pointed to Port Elgin. We hope the community will enjoy and appreciate our attention to quality, value and service. We will do our best to utilize local sources for meats and produce. The menu is often a work in progress so feel free to let us know if there is a product you would like us to offer and we will do our best to accommodate.
