Specials were numerous and included walleye dinner and a Smelt basket. I had the walleye, but had the opportunity to taste some smelt. Both were delicious, fried samples. Smelt has a much stronger fish flavor than the walleye, which was light. I wished I had ordered the smelt!
What a great find. Lunch was a fish sandwich that was terrific. We will be back.
Wonderful local restaurant with delicious cocktails. Bruce is a gem of an owner.

This place has the best Reuben in northern Michigan! The fries were hot, the sandwich was hot, the gumbo was excellent and the beers were cold. We’ll be back!
