I stopped here for lunch on a hot June 2022 day. I’d passed by their idyllic, shaded outdoor patio while headed to another restaurant. Upon seeing my destination, a highly recommended Vietnamese, but in a small, cramped indoor setting, I returned to The Gallery. This was a good move. I had a local beer Copper Bottom Red and an excellent BLT. You order inside, and everyone was friendly. The outdoor patio is tree-shaded and cool even on the warmest of days. If I lived in Charlottetown, The Gallery would become a regular haunt.
July 2022 - what another wonderful experience. I had the pastrami on rye and wow it was so full of flavour. Their patio is so peaceful and relaxing. They also offer great milk alternatives. I would highly recommend. April 2022 - Such a cute café with a beautiful outdoor patio in the summer time. They have delicious Belgium hot chocolate and an array of lovely baked goods. I would highly recommend.
This latte is one of the best things about today! It is consistently great. And I love all the scones but the cheddar jalapeño is fantastic! A wonderful space.
The absolute BEST mocha in all of… everywhere! - real chocolate, great espresso. 10/10. I think about them when I wake up in the morning. I also LOVE the local art that they change up regularly.
We came for a beer on the patio and were not disappointed!! I had the cow cookie better than it sounds - my wife had veggie sandwich. Excellent. Wonderful patio too!! Quiet and shady. Will be back!
Walking into this place is like a treat for all the senses. Having the grilled cheese with the tomato jam was a delight. The Belgian hot chocolate was also yum! Being surrounded by art from local artists was also a great experience. When in Charlottetown, you have to come here for an early breakfast! Lastly, the folks that work here are so pleasant and helpful. 10/10 through and through.
Extremely underwhelming.... Especially compared to the other breakfast places we visited during our trip. The menu lacked variety and the food was bland and uninspiring. A friend's salad could be summed up as wet vegetables covered in vinegar. Another friend was served unseasoned and overcooked potatoes. The service was also quite lazy. At one point I asked for a latte to which the server acknowledged. It never arrived. If you're here for drinks with friends or for productivity, it's good for the drinks. Otherwise avoid this place.
Just enjoyed a lovely evening with my wife at the Gallery Bistro just off Victoria Row at 82 Great George St. in Charlottetown. The food was fantastic, the service exceptional, and the setting and ambiance was perfect under the shaded trees on the outdoor patio. Thank you Jessica and Mike for your generous hospitality!!!
Nice local coffee shop with sweet treats and yummy bites. We had the salmon roll and the pastrami sandwich with some hard seltzers while listening to live music on the patio. Truly a gem in downtown Charlottetown.
I like the place. Location , food, design all good. Nice big windows need cleaning though But they should hire people having basic sales skills, like having eye contact, listening, caring.. People go to these kind of places to have a good experience , not only fill their belly .
