Had lunch here last week. Delicious soup and sandwich. The gluten free buttertarts are wonderful. Service was friendly but extremely slow so if you’re in a rush, maybe not the best place. For a leisurely light lunch though, very good indeed.
If you are in Fergus you should try this place. Red Door offers a relaxing, calm and cozy ambiance with a wonderful view. I've ordered their home made butternut squash soup, and it was delicious, several layers of flavour thanks to a very well balanced seasoning. For dessert their signature carrot cake, not too sweet and tastes like carrots!
Great service and great food! The store has a wide variety of healthy and interesting food choices; otc vitamins and essential oils; etc.
Huge, huge thanks to Nathalie at Red Door for the amazing hot and ready catering she provided for lunches on our recent film shoot!! She was incredibly accommodating, and all of the meals were so fresh and delicious. You can tell that she prepares her food with such care, and treats her customers with that same generosity and appreciation. I SO look forward to eating here again!!

A great place to source reasonably priced health and healthy food products & get a healthy, wholesome bite to eat. Location is easy to find and staff are always helpful. Definitely a highlight of Fergus!
My Wife and I were there for lunch today , we had soup and sandwich , it was perfect ,lots of flavor .We also had a lemon square that was also great. We recommend going here for lunch . We will return here
I used to really like this place. But to have this on your door in the midst of a pandemic is rude to customers. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. I’m disappointed.
I did not have a great experience here. At the door my son and I were waiting several minutes for the greeter to finish her conversation and taking notes from a man giving advice on how to treat covid “naturally” and that he had found a wealth of information online over the last 9 months that he was eager to share. Not a great start. The food tasted great although portion size was on the small side, especially the soup served half full in a small bowl, when you consider the price. The service was sub par. The young woman serving my son and I needs some lessons on basics of serving. I ordered a meal to share with my son toddler under 2 and opted for quesadilla and soup. The server brought the smallest water glass to the table that was only half full to begin with. After two sips I finished it and the server never offered to refill it. Eventually I asked for some more water and a cup for my son, too. Later she brought the meal and it was quesadilla and salad. I politely asked her about the soup. She looked at me blankly and said, “You said salad.” I did not. What I said was “that sounds great” when she said the soup was butternut squash. I was sharing the meal with my son, which she knew as I had told her I was picking items he can eat. He’s too young for salad. She brought the soup and I did not eat the salad because I didn’t order it. We went to pay and she charged me for the soup on top of the quesadilla and salad. At the register it didn’t really appear like she knew what she was doing and by this point I was so fed up with the poor service I just wanted to get out of there so I let the over-charge slide. I doubt I will return.
Super lovely place that has accommodations for many different dietary needs and preferences! Everyone is always so friendly and happy to help! So happy our small town has a place like this.
