Very friendly your neighborhood diner! We went here for light breakfast before catching the bus to Boston, and it was the right choice! Will say, limited vegetarian options for breakfast, unless you ask for it! Recommend For: Breakfast and Brunch, 24/7 Food, Comfort Food, Big Portion Egg Benedict: Very solid egg Benedict. Homeside sauce was very delicious and nicely done porched egg. If you like Ham, plenty of ham for you! Big portion for small people. Western Scrambler: I prefer vegetarian dishes, so I switched out ham with tomatoes, and it was perfect. Comfy big scramble for good breakfast. This restaurant is hidden inside the convenient store. If you are here for the first time, come inside the convenient store and look for the sign The Fort near restroom!
Clean, friendly diner. As you can tell from the picture, the biscuits & gravy has a HUGE biscuit with BIG chunks of sausage all over it. Had good flavor, added home fries after & the home fries were just out of the fryer hot. No complaints here.
Sweet tea was perfect even had lemon. Got steak and eggs with sourdough, lots of food. Much better than Dennys like most truck stops have. The brownie on the way out was a solid choice, very moist and not too sweet.

The Fort is the best Restaurant in this side of town, amazing comfort food and incredible service, the people working are always kind and friendly, the food is always hot and delicious I can’t recommend this amazing restaurant enough, Family friendly and incredibly delicious food as well as the best coffee in town
Great local diner hidden inside of a convenience store which is also good. Homemade corned beef brisket and eggs very tasty. Quick friendly service and a nice Sunday crowd. Easy walk or drive from the Hilton Garden Inn.

This was a very unprofessional establishment. I came with a group of fellow managers and was treated terribly. First the waitresses sat people that came after us. Next after it took 20 minutes to take our order. While waiting for our food nobody checked to see if we needed more coffee or anything else. Then they claimed that our order was lost, I don’t understand how that is possible. After waiting over an hour and seeing multiple people being served that came in after us we were forced to leave. I asked for a manager or a person of authority to address my concerns and there was nobody to speak to. I am very offended by the way your staff treated my peers and I. You have a terrible establishment with very rude staff that needs a lot of improvement. Also the coffee was terrible.
We had the worst service there when we went for breakfast. The food took more than 20 minutes to arrive when the restaurant was less than half full, others who came after us got served before us. The toast and potatoes were cold, the yoke on the sunny side up was solid. We would have liked to tell the server but she never came to check back on us. The sun was in my son's eyes so we tried to close the shades, it wouldn't stay closed and we were struggling with this while the server looked on without helping. We couldn't help but wonder if we would have received better service had we been white. Everyone else in the restaurant was. What a disappointment.
