One of the best restaurants in Grey Bruce hands down, service is exceptional and the food is gourmet and delicious. I have been here multiple times over the years and every time is such a pleasure. The vibe is cozy and music is great as well! Shawn is a master as his craft and I’d recommend the flying chestnut to anyone in a heartbeat. Wonderful evening! 10/10!! Cheers
If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would. Incredibly wonderful food that’s beautifully presented. Great service, great coffee etc. Don’t let the exterior discourage you, it’s fabulous.
Beautiful, warm and inventive, this restaurant will have you going back again and again. Not just for their ever-changing menu, but the experience of dining there. If it’s not clear, I love it very much and you should go.
Had an amazing meal from start to finish. Even on a busy night we didn't feel rushed and the service was outstanding. Can't wait to be back again.

Incredible food with an ever-changing menu and focus on local, fresh ingredients. The smoked prime rib is amazing - but everything Shawn makes is good! This was our first dinner out during the pandemic and we trusted the protocols and the staff. We've also regularly picked up meals to go. You get so much food for the prices, and its always delicious.

We went here for a lovely ladies night out. I shared a few dishes. All excellent: the beet salad, maple glazed shrimp, and parapadelle pasta. Atmosphere is good and it was fun to drive out to a destination. I wish they would get a debit option though- i didn’t love counting my menu items out to make sure I had enough cash. I understand however, as a small business some times these extra costs can take their toll.....
Brunch was amazing. I had the breakfast platter which was a huge plate of scrambled eggs with goats cheese, sausage, bacon, and home fries, all cooked to perfection. The view was lovely and the atmosphere was great. I can't wait to come back again next time I'm in the area.
