I had an amazing experience with the Fitzroy! I flew to Toronto to attend a formal wedding at a beautiful estate venue, and knew I wanted to try renting a dress here after having followed their Instagram for a few months. I tried on a number of dresses 2 days before I was set to pick up my rental, and every employee was so nice, thoughtful, and helpful despite accidentally keeping them a few minhtes past close! I fell in love with 2 options and kept flip flopping between them. The employees let me know that I could choose one but have the other also on my file in case I decided to change. I emailed and changed to my backup option 1 day before pick up, and that wasn't a problem. On the day of pick up, I goggles what formal wedding attire is and the venue of the wedding, and realized my initial choice was the far better option. I called them a few hours before pickup to see if I could change back, and it was not a problem at all. They just did not have the 48 hours to do a full dry clean, but they did get to doing some cleaning before I picked it up. Everyone was so kind, understanding, and eager to help. I promised them a good Google review upon pick up, so I'm finally doing that! I felt like such a pretty princess, this was definitely such a worth it experience. Thank you thank you THANK YOU the Fitzroy team for all that you did for me! Next time I'm in Toronto for an event, I am definitely coming back.
I've been going to The Fitzroy for all my dress rentals for YEARS and it honestly just gets better and better. Their new studio is an absolute dream! Most recently, I rented my bridal shower dress which was VERY comfortable and stretchy - I had to size down from a large to a medium, but it was still roomy enough that I could've gone down to a small. I stuck with a medium because I'm larger in the bottom half. I got so many compliments after wearing the dress to my bridal shower this past weekend, especially with the low back. I wish I had another occasion to wear the dress to, it's that good.nnI've also included some photos of my fave rentals over the past years! The Fitzroy does a great job of keeping their collection of dresses very current, so some of these dresses may not longer be available to rent. They also have accessory rentals too! And if you don't want to make the drive to return your dress, they have an option to return your dress for a small fee via mail.
Rented the most gorgeous pink sequin dress from The Fitzroy for a wedding and I’m still not over it! The sparkle, the fit…all chef’s kiss. I felt like a total star all night and got so many compliments, I lost count. The rental process was smooth and the service was amazing! All the ladies at the Fitzroy were and made the process stress-free even though I went in the morning of the wedding…very last minute but still came out with this gem!. This dress made me feel unstoppable. Highly recommend if you want to turn heads and feel fabulous!

Absolutely loved this dress—it was super flattering and made me feel gorgeous! I was handling my own bridal preparations and was glad to have a smooth rental experience at The Fitzroy. Surprisingly, this dress was my second choice when browsing online, but instantly became my first when I tried it on. Would definitely recommend going in person to make sure the size is right.
